guys..as you can see the T-mobile website means nothing. I just checked the UPS site, tracking the package by entering my cell number (i don't have a tracking but i received the message last night) and this is what i got..it looks like ill have it tomorrow before 3pm and i payed for UPS ground… my status STILL says backordered..

I'm sort of where you are. Got a text and email saying I should get my phone Friday, but T-Mobile's site still says it's backordered. Trouble is I still haven't received any shipping information or tracking number so I can't even verify the date that T-Mobile says it should be here. Plus I only paid for UPS Ground so I don't know how it could possibly get here Friday if it hasn't even shipped yet. Unless I'm not being notified of that either... Were you sent a tracking number despite your supposed "backorder" status?

Got the Friday text, the Friday email. Nothing through UPS. I'm hoping we get shipping notifications this afternoon.
 
I have a job. I am at it right now. I'm not obsessing over this, I just have free time and I am very interested in how this thread has developed. I'm also interested in the epic fail that is T-Mobile's pre-order system.
 
I have only one UPS but looking at the tracking it has a weight of 3.4 lbs.
My CC is not charged, but I did receive an email that I should get the phone on Friday.

Does anybody else have that shipping weight? I also ordered a router yesterday, it could possibly be that even though its not suppose to be delivered until 26th

Ordered in store on Friday - 09/12 2:30 PDT


if you order 1 iphone weight should be about 1.00-1.10 pounds few members order the router and have the same weight you have so im almost 100% its the router you'll be getting

go to UPS site on the tracking part and go to "track by reference" and enter your cell..you should be able to find your packet this way..i did as you can see on the screen shoot i attached..
 
Dang you UPS. You just had to realize the shipments I had scheduled for delivery today were iphones. They reissued a delivery date for tomorrow but they are in transit.

Just got out of bed and checked my UPS tracking. :D

Didn't order anything but the phones, so it has to be them I guess.

New customer, non-JUMP, original order placed at 4:10 AM PDT 9/12 then had error with card fraud protection alert so was cancelled and replaced by new order placed 9:55 AM PDT 9/13 (by special T-Mo Rep, who called me himself when I emailed Legere).

T-Mo's site still says "Order Placed" and I've not gotten an email (nor a text, but I didn't give them a cell # to text at) but since it's left their storage facilities already, I don't care :D
 
Has anyone that ordered a 6+ on Friday with Jump received shipping information and/or the friday text? If so please post the order time. Thanks!
 
So, it seems like for those of you who paid for the "expedited" shipping was a waste. Getting mine tomorrow and went the cheaper route for shipping.
 
Well, this if fun. I ordered on Sunday, the instant the preorder site opened.

I got a text last night saying delivery between 9/22 and 9/30. I paid for overnight shipping. This is starting to get really, really annoying.

uhhhh the site opened for Pre-Orders on Friday :)

Yes I have, You got official T-Mobile confirmation that you should receive your phone tomorrow yet your still going nuts. The phones are being shipped today through overnight shipping and UPS takes a few hours to update properly especially during times of heavy load. Don't sweat it you will get your phone.

Just checked UPS !!! And it said delivery today when I checked earlier now I got this !!!

Finally my ups page updated! Scheduled arrival tomorrow before 4:30. It was stuck on the label page since 5am yesterday morning, but I figured they were holding it for overnight so it would arrive at launch.
Sometimes UPS is weird and ends up transferring packages to my local post office at the last minute (and they say privatizing our postal service is better, smh), so that's my worst case scenario, that I'll get it Monday which is FINE, lol.

All of you guys the phones CANNOT be delivered before Friday. This is a requirement from Apple and cannot be changed. For 99.9% of us dont expect them today until they are at your door, and if they do get delivered it was an error. This is an Apple request and is SOP for Pre-Orders.

This is also why all of us got shipping emails but nothing on UPS yet. They are shipping overnight, it makes more sense to ship 1000 devices overnight the day before then 500 two days before and have them hold the package.

Can I change the address for delivery if I have a tracking number threw the reference page and not threw my choice?

I wouldnt risk it unless you have no other options, its asking for a disaster.
 
I think what's happening is the very early people are getting theirs shipped & held until Friday (JUMP) and then today the second half of the first batch is getting theirs shipped tonight and won't have to be held.

Well, I hope.

same here! I got my text and email stating friday delivery, website has not updated, CSR are useless, but this morning I got another text saying My preorder will not show on UPS until launch day. I checked over and My UPS Choice and it shows both my packages In Transit for tomorrow delivery! it's obvious that Tmobile's systems suck and none of the information given can be believed wether it's by phone or online. But if you have it In Transit, that means it's in UPSs procession, and its up to them to get it to our doors on time.

I paid for overnight, but the shipping charges were removed when my card was charged. I was only charged for the taxes on my phone, they seem to even removed the charges for the sim card kits.
 
Good news! My coworker just sent me a picture of the box of iPhones we just got in at my store. I am looking at a box that says "iPhone 6, 64GB, Space Gray". Usually we only get the bade model of phones. So if you don't get yours launch day, check out what stock the stores have.

You are probably right, that's what I think it is too. That's the only thing that comes up with if I try to use my phonenumber in reference tracking.

As a new customer, how did you track your package? Did you get tracking information or did you use a reference? If reference, what # did you use?

Ok, I tried. I don't know if I'm doing it right though, I'm entering my ten digit cell phone number no spaces no dashes and it tells me it couldn't locate shipping details for my request. So if nothing is coming up, am I to assume that T-Mobile is lying to me about getting it on Friday?
