New customer (switching from VZW)
iPhone 6 (64 GB) Space Grey
Added JUMP! onto account
Ordered/signed EIP on 9/15 around 5:30 PM Pacific
Card charged (pending) on Wednesday (9/17)
Received "you should expect your phone to be delivered by Friday" email yesterday around 4:00 Pacific
No UPS tracking yet
Robot lady still says "processing"

+ Also paid for overnight, if that matters. Sounds like it doesn't at this point.

If it's any solace, the wife ordered a 5s Gold 32gb - that's backordered. Only movement on our two phones since we placed the order Monday is on the iPhone 6.
 
Beyond frustrated at the lack of information available to a new customer. If I don't hear something today on the status (even if it's wait for four weeks), I think I'll stay where I am and get the 6s when its available.

CS reps just tell me what Robo Lady says. Three tweets to TMobileHelp, nothing. Tried to transfer to agent after Robo Lady and waited on hold for 15 minutes before giving up.

In all serious, would it kill them to put a proper tracking system in place for new orders too?
 
I think I figured out why some didn't receive the email/ text. I am a new customer and haven't actually ported any of my numbers over yet, so technically I am not yet a "customer" that can access like the My T-mobile side. Maybe that's why we didn't get texts or emails. Basically guessing but it sounds possible

Anyone wanna trade their 128 Space Gray for my 128 Gold?

Got my email alert from UPS overnight with tracking number due to arrive tomorrow.

After all this - it actually looks like Tmo is gonna get me a phone faster than ATT. I ordered from ATT around 2 AM PST on launch (6+, 128, Gray) and ordered from Tmo ~12 hrs later (6+, 128, Gold) (meant to order Gray). ATT ship date still shows early October.

It's hard for me to complain so I wont. Assuming Tmo phone arrives as expected, will cancel w/ATT and be glad to be done with them.

Anyone wanna trade their 128 Space Gray for my 128 Gold?

Order time: ~2:30 PM PST, launch Friday
Jump: No (new Tmo customer)
Order Status on Tmo page: "Order Placed" <---This has NEVER changed
Tmo emails/texts: only one email last night saying I should get phone Friday
Robolady: said "backordered" yesterday. Haven't called since.
Bank charges: ~$300 (pending)on the 12th (fell off), ~$289 (pending) yesterday
UPS Status: got email w/ tracking for delivery tomorrow

I called and asked about updates for new customers and they said if anything happens, including when your order ships, new customers will get an email :/

I paid for overnight but got charged for it too. That's BS if they don't refund everyone who has paid.

The chat person told me that all she could see was that my order was backordered and to call the Robo Lady number and ask to talk to a person.

Side Note: That might have cheered me up just typing that ludicrous sentence.
 
I am in the same exact boat. Thats why I settled with the M8. The Note 3 was nice, (I had one for 4 months) but I couldnt get past TouchWiz. When I first got my M8 I converted it to GPE and ran that for a while, but that made the camera unusable. The MotoX(2) caught my eye, but the battery, design and camera all killed it for me.

Yep, I really hate touchwiz but you lose a lot going to a vanilla rom. I did have some debloated touchwiz roms that ran okay. I liked the moto x for the fact that moto updated very quickly and the phone was designed to enhance pure android rather than skinning it completely. I'm curious, did you get the 6 or 6+? I really went back and forth on this one. Note3 was just too big for me but 4.7 seemed a tad small. The M8/S5 are close to perfect sizes to me.

Still time for a shipping label to be created, but shouldn't it been made already if I got the Friday text?
 
Use the UPS tracking number that I received from last night, it is schedule for tomorrow delivery. I opt for UPS ground and indeed it has been upgraded to UPS Next Day. :)
 
I am so proud of you guys! Not only have we destroyed the VZW pre-order thread by almost 2000 posts (up from 900 yesterday), but we might be able to even beat the UK Pre-order thread as well! Don't yield guys!!!
 
I got another text saying my phone was going to be shipping today via overnight and to expect tracking info soon

still no update on the UPS tracking though

edit: both #trk# and the website say I'm backordered though and the alert from my-mobile actually has it updated this morning as backordered >_< this is still such a mess and makes me not want to preorder from T-Mobile ever again...
 
Received text this morning:

"We are shipping iPhone orders today using overnight delivery..."

No shipping label created yet, so don't sweat it if you don't have a label. My order went through Friday 12th at 4:50AM and I still don't have a label.

Also, I paid for overnight, but it looks like everyone is getting overnight - regardless of whether they paid for it. Pretty sure it's an Apple thing were all phones are overnighted with a pre-order. Amid the confusion and problems T-Mobile had, if you're seeing a shipping option that is anything other than overnight, it probably doesn't mean anything
