T-Mobile.com preorder thread

For what it's worth, this is my experience with TMO and their shipping.....

I've been with them for 10+ years and EVERY SINGLE TIME I've ordered a phone, I NEVER get a tracking number until very early in the AM of the day it is scheduled to arrive. And when I say "get a tracking number" I really mean tracking by reference works on UPS.com. And 9 times out of 10, I don't get notification of my tracking number from TMO until after I've already received the package.

So I'm not freaking out yet. This is par for the course from my experiences. If I wake up tomorrow AM and reference tracking still doesn't work, the meltdown will commence lol.

Woot!! New customer here, never got emails or texts or anything, but I signed up for UPS choice and been refreshing it for last 2 days and within the last 5 minutes it just popped up!

Says it will be here tomorrow 9/19 end of day. Also worth nothing, I did not pay for overnight shipping but looks like I am getting it tomorrow still!

How do you know your tracking number

As mentioned before I've bought a lot of phones from T-Mobile and I can't ever recall having a tracking number this early in the night. Always seem to come after midnight MST for me. I think one time the phone even beat the tracking number.

I'm pretty confident it will be coming overnight, but out of town so I guess I'll get it on Monday.

Thanks for sharing your past orders -- good to know. Just checked via automated phone order status with the same result. I also ordered an iPhone 6 64GB Space Gray. No other updates since this mornings text regarding overnight shipping.

I really don't think so -- if you scroll to the last page, I posted the UPS log from when I ordered my T-Mobile SIM last week as a new customer. It didn't get "Ready for UPS" until 10:30pm (in Louisville, I'm in Nashville) on the 10th... UPS picked it up at 1:30am, it traveled 200 miles to me and was delivered to me the 11th at 11am... UPS works 24/7 for stuff like this.

And I had originally gotten the 9/22-9/30 text! Told you the texts were queued up!

I was told that they would charge when it's shipped, granted everything I've been told has been BS.
 
The biggest thing the grinds my gears is the lack of consistency with status of these orders. Take for example Friday(12th) AM orders. Some have gotten the 19th text, UPS status, and a CC charge. Some a CC charge. Some just a UPS status. And some just the text. Then you have folks like me(ordered 11:10am pst) with the 22nd-30th text. Lastly, you have some folks with a "we'll you know in 1 -2 days" text. I'm sure I missed a whole bunch of other combinations. Either way, lots of inconsistency. smh.

Oh and I feel sorry for all of the Bucs fan out there lol.

Good for you! That's exciting! I'm not there yet, but as I said I suspect UPS is batch uploading Tracking #'s now..
 
Now it seems like ups has released the hounds and their system is updating. We will see.
 
Why won't they charge my card!! Take my money t-mobile!! Its yours!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Shipping email confirmation just now from tmobile confirming tomorrow's delivery! Once again, robot lady claims processed, ordered iPhone 6+ 16gb space grey on 9/12 4:15 PDT, didn't check when charged, got the email about the 1-2 day notification but I'm still getting it on friday so its still possible for people to get it on friday that have gotten the 1-2 day email!

So much for UPS MyChoice letting me know that the status has changed.
And, so much for T-Mobile updating the order status.

Refreshed that dusty UPS Tracking results page and at least my 64GB 6 Plus is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow.

One down, one to go, one more to do.
