Been following the thread for a few days. I'll finally add my anecdotal experience:

Early last week I opened up a new t-mobile account in anticipation of pre-ordering online. I figured having an account open ahead of time would allow me to setup an account early and have less hoops to jump through come pre-order day. Explained this to the rep in-store and he set me up with two temporary numbers and waived the sim fee for me.

The friday fiasco came, I took a short "nap" at 3am PST and woke back up at 4am to see that preorders were live. After 15-20 minutes of unscuccessful online ordering, I called customer service and waited ~15 minutes on hold. The rep was super friendly and got my order for a 64GB iPhone 6 (grey) and a 64GB iPhone 6 Silver. She very confidently told me I would get mine on the 19th (I took it with a grain of salt). Signed the EIP I was sent and got a confirmation copy at 4:45am PST on the dot.

Yesterday my order history changed to "BackOrder 09/17/2014 at 03:17:16 AM" and then from Backordered to preordered. No changes since then when checking via my.t-mobile.com

My credit card was charged the evening of the 16th for the full amount (charge is still pending). Since then I seem to be on the tail end of all the developments I've read here. Lots of people got the "it's coming friday!" email during the day yesterday and I got mine at 7:15pm yesterday. Robolady finally changed her tune to "processing" not long after people here got that. No shipping information via ups.

Finally, tonight I decided to chat with customer service online for the heck of it:

RonnieM: Hi!

RonnieM: I understand that you want to know the status of your order. No worries, I'm here to help.

RonnieM: Let me go ahead and pull up your account and check on this.

Me: thanks

<looooong pause>

RonnieM: Thank you for waiting. I just want to ask, have you already received an email or a text message that says something like "Free T-Mobile Msg: Great news! You should receive your iPhone 6 on Friday." Thank you for your iPhone 6 pre-order. Great news! You should receive your device on Friday.

Me: yes, i received an email last night stating i would receive it friday

RonnieM: Great! That's good to hear! Let me just confirm that hear.

<even longer pause>

RonnieM: Thank you for waiting. I'm happy to inform you that your phone will be delivered tomorrow. Unfortunately customers who participated in the iPhone pre-order are beginning to receive notifications that their orders are being shipped. However, the notifications do not provide order tracking numbers. As of this moment we don't have the tracking numbers yet, however I want to assure you that your order is a priority for us.


So, that's where I'm at right now. Aside from the pre-orders not going live on time or working via the website (ok, that's a big one), everything else has been a smooth pleasant experience for me. Even if I don't actually get it tomorrow, I always find the week leading up to the release entertaining/fun. Good luck everyone!
 
64GB gold ordered the 12th at 11pm. UPS isn't pulling anything up. I hope I'm one of those that just gets their phone before a tracking number.

Got charged yesterday and got no email or texts about shipment yet...

Ups my choice showing up nothing....

I've now lost hope for friday delivery despite getting texts and emails to that effect. UPS would have SOMETHING by now.

Not sure what you mean, probably Package.

I have UPS MyChoice and as soon as something is even prepped to be shipped to my address, I get an instant email notification, so I held onto that tracking number like a lifeline, then just kept refreshing until the status updated itself.
 
Used the phone number to which the SMS was sent as the tracking by reference number, then add country and zipcode of destination

Did you type your phone number in as the reference number

Yeap I entered both numbers that i used for the 2 iPhone 6+ that I ordered and nothing came up. However, I did get my Amex charged by Tmobile.

Found my tracking number. Getting my phone tmorrow by 4:30! So excited, and glad this nightmare is over. Hoping for the best for everyone here!

The nightmare?!?!? Goodness. We all have it pretty good, don't we? I got all the texts and emails everyone else did promising delivery tomorrow, but no real evidence that it is actually going to happen as of yet. Also, why are so many people getting 16 GB phones? It seems crazy to do that - apple shouldn't even be selling them like that. It's really too bad they didn't bump up the whole lineup.
 
Web says "Pre-ordered"
Robo lady says "order is being processed but not yet available to ship"
#TRK# says "back ordered"
Nothing from UPS web tracking or myChoice

So I'm thinking all of the iPhones are going to be on the 4:00AM UPS flights out of Louisville to the regional hub and then sent to the local hubs for delivery tomorrow.

We don't have tracking info yet because not everything has been scanned in to UPS systems yet. Once the aircraft arrive from Anchorage, AK and the sort begins we will start to see tracking numbers become live.
 
I have not. Two 6plus 64gb. I live in the 626 area. Got all emails and texts. Robolady says process not shipped yet, web says back ordered, can't track by reference.

Same here, 714, 128gb gold 6+, no tracking! no reference! but got all emails and texts

Still kind of thinking that ups is just gonna be slow tonight on the tracking numbers and we will see something tomorrow

Anyone bitching about tmobile and this preorder, head on over to the AT&T 6+ thread where they will be getting their phones sometime in October, regardless of when they ordered

We have seen very high pre-order demand since the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus launch was announced, and want to assure you that your order is a priority for us. I see checked the order for you and I'm also still not seeing the tracking number for the phone, however no need for you to worry, this will definitely push through since your bank account has been charged. Please monitor your email from time to time within today for the tracking number of your iPhone 6Plus 128GB.

RonnieM: I assure you that this order will be delivered tomorrow.

You: I really hope so, my service with Tmobile depends on it. I don't understand why friends that ordered the same exact phone hours after I did are already able to track their delivery on UPS.com

RonnieM: I actually receive chats like this within the last few hours. Due to the high volume of orders our offline team who updates the orders have a lot on their plate as of this moment. We will be true to our word, the iPhone 6 Plus will be there tomorrow and please monitor your email from now on moving forward.

RonnieM: We will update you about the status of the order as well as the tracking number within this day.

In not too happy at this point. My whole story is as follows: I made my order so early with my business Rep (he's a good friend of mine) that the rip I signed actually had a date of 9/11/14 11:05 PST even though it was the 12th where we were. Since then I have not gotten any emails texts nada. Also when I ordered I was not charged cause my buddy told me it would be charged to my bill (I guess they have a different system for business customers it something idk) so as of now I have talked to two other tmobile reps that told me my order is back ordered even though I may have been one of the first. Not to mention my order status online even says order placed on the 11th and back order on the 12 nothing has changed since then....I hope I get a phone close to launch date cause that's what the whole peorder system is about right?? First come first serve??
 
I'm still holding out. There are 5 UPS planes en route to Louisville. The last one lands 1:23AM EDT. So thats another 1 million iphones that are going to end up there in apprx. 1.5 hours.
 
Message of hope for all those that got the 1-2 days text msg yesterday!

My iphone 6 16gb SG was actually picked up by ups yesterday and arrived in Houston this afternoon and I'll be receiving it tmrw! There's hope guys!! Hang in there.
 
You guys, check out my previous post but my shipped label literally just entered the UPS system at 10:15 pm EST! Also it took about an hour for it to appear on My UPS portal ~11:15 pm! So theres about an hour delay...

There are phones literally entering the UPS system at this very moment...don't lose hope! Like I said I didn't receive any emails/texts but order was complete for 4 iPhones the morning of 9/12

For those getting their ups updated recently, did you happen to get the processed but not available for shipping message from robo lady today?
 
I ordered at 2:20 PM PT, nothing on MyChoice!!!

You know, I don't even care if my phone shows up tomorrow… but I'm dying to see if yours does :p (you seem to be getting the same e-mails and texts as me at the same time. Wonder if geographic location has anything to do with it. I also can't do the track by reference number thing on UPS… haven't bothered with UPS MyChoice, though.)
 
anyone get this email/text and get charged, ups tracking, any other in the horizon? anything

So like.. T-Mobile effed up my 9/12 order, so I had to re-order my iPhone 6 plus over the phone on 9/16 and the customer rep told me I would receive it on the 24th, the robot girl told me the 23rd, so I was pretty pissed that I wouldn't get it on launch.. Until I see you guys trying out the reference numbers (I've been trying all day and it never worked) until I type in the billing phone number (which was my home number) and I see UPS to be delivered tomorrow ^.^
