T-Mobile.com preorder thread

My day so far in a nutshell and its only 12:35.


Wednesday i got the text that said expect your phone friday.
never got shipping. never got tracking. never got email.
robo lady said my order was waiting to be shipped.
online said backorder 9/18
so i was pissed as **** and i went to the tmobile store to go and buy one and i would cancel my online order.

so im waiting in line 1 1/2 hours now meanwhile my girlfriend on sprint who ordered her phone wednesday has it in hand already

i check UPS one more time and it ****ing says on truck for delivery.

a big jump from no info available to on truck.

now I'm waiting for my phone :).

Same here. Finally got my label, but it shows (via UPS MyChoice) a delivery date of 9/22 by 10:30 AM. Gah! Ordered way early on the 12th, received the 9/19 texts and emails, assured by CS, card charged... 9/22 is OK, but rearranged sched to be home today and all for naught... Oh well!
Reading this forum has helped me maintain my sanity and not turn to drinking... Lol!:eek:

They started sending out texts and emails to communicate better which they've NEVER done with my pre-orders before. So they are trying. The problem is this simply cannot be "fixed" in 7 days. On top of that you have this massive impatient community calling them 5 times a day, thrashing their web systems, etc. Heck I saw earlier one person on these forums called to get status even though they knew their order was out for delivery. This doesn't help the situation.

I do feel sorry for the people that have to have this phone so bad that they are going to a different company. I would take my screwed up iPhone order any day over being with AT&T again. T-Mobile screwed up, they are trying to fix it, and they have a great track record over the last 2 years of fixing all their mistakes. If you don't think this one is going to get fixed you aren't paying attention to this company under Legere.

In a few months you will look back and realize a few days didn't change your life - well, there is that Joan Rivers FB post about her upgrading today.

They appear to be actively trying to help, and beating on the system isn't helping the system recover.

I can understand needing to have someone around to sign for it - heck, we just found out that my boyfriend will be out of town for the next 2.5 weeks. He is the primary, I have a number to port AND a trade-in to deal with. I wish mine was arriving today - I never had an expectation that it was since I ordered Tuesday.

What would be awesome would be to have it... then be able to use the video features at my daughters gymnastics meet tomorrow.

But it won't be here.

I'll live.

I'm pretty confident that TMo will be doing what they feel they can to fix it - just not TODAY as they try to contain the mess.

Anyway, I do truly wish that everyone could get it as expected today. But it seems to me that you'd be ahead of the game to stay where you are rather than get in line elsewhere....

Would like to apologize for my many posts. I've been acting like a spoiled brat. The phone won't leave my mind, but posting constantly won't help it come faster. Hopefully it somehow shows up today, If not, hopefully the next week.

Never got a tracking number from tmobile. Did get the "you'll get it Friday" texts/email. Last night it switched to backordered and tmobile told me I would not receive it. Found ups reference this morning. It arrived in KY at 2 AM. Seattle at 5 AM. On a truck at 6. Out for shipping at 7:15. Arrived at 9:30.

Same thing as you right now... I'm just hoping it shows up today. I gotta go out soon and still hope ups driver comes, I would atleast like to know my package shipped!

No need to apologize, we're all in here and it becomes an echo chamber. Half the fun is in the stress/OCD-ness of tracking our orders. Still frustrating though... :mad:
