Can I cancel a pre-order without having to pay a restocking fee? I don't even see the option to cancel it online since it's still processing...
The store rep today gave me free next day shipping but I don't think it's gonna ship any time soon... and was wondering what would happen if I just cancel the pre-order altogether

The text is irrelevant. People who got the 9-22-9-30 text are getting it today. It mostly ran on hopes and dreams.
What I am noticing though is people who ordered the + on Friday, and paid for any other shipping than ground are the people who havent heard anything also. (Including me) I could be completely wrong, but it seems correct.
No, why would you think a new order today is going to get it sooner than your order from before?? And if you're going to walk into a store to look for one today, dont cancel your preorder until you have what you want in your hand.
Thank God T-Mobile has my money. Maybe they can spend some of it...I don't know...on SHIPPING me the phone.

I ordered my 6+ 64GB Silver at 11AM EST on 9/12 and paid for 2nd Day shipping and haven't heard anything since the "you'll get it friday" email and text combo. Now, we never got any of that for my wife's 64GB 6 Silver that I ordered 2 hours before mine and hers has tracking, etc. and is Out For Delivery.
The only reason I'm thinking is because someone earlier did just that and now they have UPS tracking with and ETA for tomorrow.
Well that throws my theory out the window.
Same here, ordered a + Friday w/ ground, heard from tmo saying they're upgrading free to next day, but no tracking no charge, no NOTHING!
Im get 1-2d txt msg, t-mobile web status still backorder and pre-order (im ordered 2 iphone 6plus 64gb Gold). Robotlady say not shipment available yet. Tmobile CS say may be 4-8 weeks. Bank pre-auth just 1 phone for full amount, another one not charge yet. This morning wake up @ 2am check still the same, check UPS My Choice find out TMobile shipped out my phone already, with tracking # everything, got my phone this afternoon. Feeling good. Hope you same board with me.

Same here. Finally got my label, but it shows (via UPS MyChoice) a delivery date of 9/22 by 10:30 AM. Gah! Ordered way early on the 12th, received the 9/19 texts and emails, assured by CS, card charged... 9/22 is OK, but rearranged sched to be home today and all for naught... Oh well!
Reading this forum has helped me maintain my sanity and not turn to drinking... Lol!

I literally tried to order from 2am onwards, and placed my order once Apple.com finally came up.
16GB Silver iPhone 6+ tmobile.
Well, despite being what I hope is near the front of the line, I was given the 10/1-10/6 estimate.
Status changed to preparing for shipment, yesterday. Card charged yesterday.
Looks like I am missing the launch day fun. I went to my local t-mobile to see if they had stock, but like everyone else is reporting they didn't have the 6 plus, and not only that they had only a single model of the iPhone 6 - they only had 64GB SG.

The text may be incorrect but it is not irrelevant. Why send them if they don't mean anything?
I just confirmed this over the phone and Twitter. There is an inventory issue if you ordered the 64gb space gray iPhone 6+.
If you ordered this phone, cancel the order immediately an re-order to be put on next weeks queue. Otherwise your order will be stuck in limbo!!!

It seems everyone that preordered early got no shipping and if you preordered late got shippingn already...
I got charged 2 days ago and still nothing... I ordered last Friday at 5 am....
