Just got my AMEX charged (925 for my full price 6+/64/SG)... :eek:

(I should note that it's showing up on the amex as a pending charge (the same place preauths go too, but I got notification for the actual charge, something I don't get for preauths).

I know that it doesn't mean much these days, but at least it's something different for me.
 
To those who've received credits on their bill ...did you guys ask or did the exec rep offer this themselves ?

If you asked, what did you say...I asked and got a ****** $50 credit ( pay $225 per month including EIPs )

I also got a call from one of Legere's execs and like others have said he was extremely apologetic about the whole pre-order situation. He agreed that those of us who ordered on 9/12 super early should have received our phones by now. He also admitted people have ordered the exact same phones as us hours even days after us and have their phones. He said it's not right and he would like to give me a credit on my bill. He credited my bill for a months service which was $155.

Also I, like many of you on here, got charged last night on my credit card...this is a very good thing. It means our phones are going to ship soon. He couldn't tell me when but we should have them by the 30th. He said he will personally call me with the shipping info as soon as it is available.

I was part of the 9/19 text group. :( And I called back the exec guy that I spoke to and emailed him to try to get an update (even if the update is he doesn't know) and nothing. I'm trying to be patient since I'm sure he's busy, but it's just funny (not funny) because he said he'd be calling and bugging me every day until I had my phone and I haven't heard a peep from him since. I'm not that scary :mad: just give me the scoop! ugh

Yes, and I got notification texts/emails for the large charge/card-not-present transaction. I never got a "card not present" transaction for the $1.00 preauth, so I think this one is an actual charge. (it's the same I get when I buy stuff online)

You and MI Macguy and I are the ones I know of who got the 9/19 texts and no phone. Hopefully we will end up in the 9/22 group but I don't have anything at all yet.

I asked if I would have to wait for it to be credited but they did it immediately but only for the $24.99 not for more. Didn't want to be too greedy.
 
Keeping track of our calls...

I finally couldn't wait any more so I called in a couple of days ago to ask the status of my order. Got the same type of responses everyone else has received. But I had to call back today because they screwed up what line my Jump coverage was on.

What was interesting was when the CSR answered the phone the first words out of his mouth were "...I see you called 48 hours ago, is there another issue you need help with?" So they are keeping track of our calls.
 
Just that my order did actually get through and wasn't in limbo or lost. Apart from that, I didn't get much else other than they have no idea when it'll actually ship.

I was told exactly the same thing!

Cuz i have a pending charge for the full amount in my account as well.. and they told me its just to see if its a real card or if it has funds if not then the order gets cancelled. It doesn't mean you get your phone early... BUT since its the only updates in the past 3 days I'm taking it as a positive.

The rep offered on his own. I was simply asking questions about what was happening with the 9/12 orders (not being hostile at all), and he was stumbling all over himself trying to answer my questions (without point blank saying T-Mobile just screwed up) and apologize, then he just offered the credit.
 
I got my 6 on Saturday. iOS 8 is the buggiest release I've ever experienced from Apple. The keyboard typically doesn't work in Messages when you go from portrait to landscape and I've had issues with WIFI. My iPad Air could not use any WIFI connection for an entire day and then magically it started working. It's not the end of the world, but it's pretty disappointing coming from Apple. I find it pretty ridiculous that everyone is talking about bent iPhones and not how bad iOS 8 is. I think all the bugs are a much bigger issue since they affect far more people.

Of course different folks might see different results from ios8. I upgraded my iphone5S and 3rd gen iPad the day iOS was released with only one problem (that I discovered). My VPN stopped working and I had to disable it on both systems. I received my iPhone6 last Monday, and after I "synced" it to iTunes, I discovered the VPN was working correctly. IDK, possibly my VPN service had pushed out an update that I didn't see in my haste.
