I got this text from t-mobile a few minutes ago and excited went to check my order status... But nope, still says backordered :(. Hopefully this is a sign that I will soon get my phone though.

I got that text on 9/14 and 9/19. No movement, no updates since.

I just received a call from the executive office after emailing them about my preorder that was place on September 12 online via jump at 11 am. She apologize and told me that there was a system error and the system was shipping order randomly to customers regardless of who place first. When I ask her why the rep couldn't find my order she said that shouldn't happen because she pull my order out just find and will send out a memo to them explaining how to pull out the jump order. She also said that order that started with an s are indeed jump order and that those order need to be pull from another system. As far as my order goes the wait is from 1 week - 4 week even if I receive the Msg that said 9/22-9/30. We ended our call with a 300.00 to my account and another 250 off my iPhone 6 plus silver. So there you have since the system was so screw up on the 12. Don't take that 9/22-9/30 as a definite delivery date according to what she said.

DAMN!!!! what'd you say to get so much off???

----------

that's a good way to pass time.. you start watching one episode and then all of a sudden you watched half the season

I'm on season 4 ;) hahaha

Received Phone

Just to update...ordered phone on 9/12 at 3:30am Pacific Time with overnight shipping selected, received phone on 9/22. Didn't get it launch day, but the next business day works. All in all, not too bad.

Just speculating here...

None of us that have Pluses have seen any movement this week. We also know that their system errored (or something) and it was causing people go get their devices at random. Do you think they could be holding our phones and shipping them out in one big batch to ensure the mistake doesn't happen again?

I hope so. I'd be beyond pissed if more people that ordered after me get their phone before me.

A CSR told me on Monday that she had a note that all preordered back orders will ship 9/25. Someone else heard something about them stockpiling to ship them all out at once...so maybe. Yet they say they ship out as soon as they receive so who knows?

Lol not even the exec team is on the same page... the guy i talked to says that they haven't found proof that people who ordered later are getting it before those who ordered earlier! I just went along with it.... what am i gonna say hey I'm on a forum where we are knowing when ppl are getting their orders! hahaahaha he's gonna tell me to get a life! sadly he would be right lol

Well the bright side is, I installed the iOS update and then saw that it's causing a lot of problems for 6 users...good thing I don't have a 6 yet :/

T-Mobile's financials are going to be so screwed up for this quarter with all the credits that they're giving out. While I'm happy that I did get a credit for this month's bill (although I didn't ask nor hint for one when I talked to the rep last night), I feel a little guilty about it. Yes, their pre-order process and its aftermath was extremely screwed up, but I really don't think that any and everyone that calls in should be given $200 and $300 credits (or continuously calling to get additional credits). It just seems like some people are taking advantage of the situation. This is all just crazy.

I emailed john about 12 hours ago; waiting to hear back. 2 canceled orders for no reason ... was told it was a system error. Original order on the 13th at 7:45 am. Yeah ... this sucks.

I got my 6 on Saturday. iOS 8 is the buggiest release I've ever experienced from Apple. The keyboard typically doesn't work in Messages when you go from portrait to landscape and I've had issues with WIFI. My iPad Air could not use any WIFI connection for an entire day and then magically it started working. It's not the end of the world, but it's pretty disappointing coming from Apple. I find it pretty ridiculous that everyone is talking about bent iPhones and not how bad iOS 8 is. I think all the bugs are a much bigger issue since they affect far more people.

I didn't get a credit when I got a call. I didn't ask for one either. All I wanted was some info, which I got.

Agreed. I understand that t-mobile did mess up with pre-orders, especially JUMP customers (they messed up with me as well). But hey, overall I do not personally believe this is all their fault. T-mobile is not the only carrier with backordered orders. If anything I would be contacting Apple, I mean come on! They are Apple, they KNOW this was going to happen. T-mobile does not make the phones, Apple does. There is nothing T-mobile can do to help with the production of the phones. If there is anyone to blame is Apple, not T-mobile.

I have had a lot of issues with wifi too, all my devices fall off wifi when they're sleeping and since I get barely any cellular service inside my house my phone is completely offline quite often. But 8.0.1 is causing a lot of 6 users to lose cellular service completely and touch ID stops working.
