So here's my story, since I've gotten so much enjoyment out of this thread, and it's making my days without my phone a bit easier.
New customer, switching from Sprint to T-Mo, ordered my phone (64GB Gold 6+) on 9/14 around noon or so at a store.
No idea if I've been charged, but I have confirmed my EIP the moment I got the email (1pm) and so I've been patiently waiting ever since. I can't access the My T-Mobile because my account was setup with a temporary number and my account was suspended until I receive my phone to avoid any monthly charges, so I guess I can't see my order status as closely as everyone else. It's also made it tough because I'm not sure what number to look up at the UPS website (I've been trying both) and the last email I received was on 9/17 stating:
"Thank you for your iPhone 6 Plus pre‑order. We have seen very high pre-order demand since the launch was announced, and want to assure you that your order is a priority for us. Great news we expect your device to be delivered between 9/22 and 9/30. We will send another email which will include tracking information once your phone ships. We are extremely excited about the iPhone 6 Plus, and wanted to make sure you are up‑to‑date on the status of your order."
So at this point, I'm hoping they follow through and I get my email of shipment soon, because I want to re-direct the package so it doesn't sit in my apartment's office, I have reservations about a $900 box sitting where lots of people go in and out through.
