I've been told (by tmobile) that TMO-purchased phones need to go through their unlock policy (basically, you need to have paid it off or paid full price, and had it active for at least 40d). Apple-purchased TMO phones, however, are unlocked out of the box.

I truly hope all of you guys are getting some sort of compensation from Tmobile because that is just ridiculous. Once I received mine on Tuesday I was expecting that at the very least all preorders from the 12th would be fulfilled by today, but now we're heading into the weekend and i'm still reading about orders being placed on the 13-15th being delivered while the brave souls who woke up at 3am on the 12th and went through that entire fiasco still being screwed
I'm one of the 12ers, No movement at all this week. Last thing I was told on Tuesday by CS was that it would get it on November 3rd.

Anybody considering doing the hold for pickup option? My phone is still at the "label has been created option" and probably won't be here until Monday or Tuesday (even though Louisville is only 4 hours away from Chicago). If j hold for pickup and it arrives in Chicago today, will UPS let me pick it up tonight?
hmmm if its that good may be worth the 25 deposit my current router sucks lol was thinking of going and buying one... should i just do this instead?

7 Flights came in today and there is no one who got charged till now and its almost 12 PM EST. What are these people doing with those shipments. Are there any iphones in those flights or are they chinese S** toys?

It's not that horrible. It is in huge demand and it's only 1 week after release. And it's just a phone - not a kidney.
Yes, I am still waiting, but I am not expecting anything soon because there are still a lot of people ahead of me.

Yesterday, livid with T-Mobile about no updates.
Now, looking at the UPS calendar and seeing my wife's 6 delivered a week ago today and my 6+ coming today...I thought to myself..
"Gee, that wasn't so bad".
7 Flights came in today and there is no one who got charged till now and its almost 12 PM EST. What are these people doing with those shipments. Are there any iphones in those flights or are they chinese S** toys?
maybe a bunch of orders from alibaba after people discovered them when they went public lol

Exactly this. Plus, I figure I'll be on the 6S/7 when it comes out, so that's a couple of weeks less I'll be able to use this phone while I'm paying full price
(so it's $849/11 instead of $849/12)I'm not really upset about not having the phone yet because I can wait. It's just all the different answers from the CSR's, the open ended answers, and the lack of communication. That's what I'm really upset about.
