The general compensation received by 9/12ers has been the equivalent of 1 months bill (mine was $103,) which IMO is very fair.

Those that have received much more either have higher monthly bills, or had additional screwups with their order, for example, multiple orders inexplicably cancelled.

I'm going to aim high knowing I really don't care what I recieve as long as it's something lol because I ordered 9/12

All joking aside, it varies and even tmo doesn't seem to be able to tell how/why. It could be a week, it could be 8. It depends on the model type, how many they get from apple, and how many other orders they're trying to fill.

Funny, for me, the delivery of the phone has been secondary, mine has been all the other problems, when I tried to cancel and 3 diff Treps told me it will take 72 hours, then when I cancelled they did it wrong, then I was told well, now it is too late to cancel. THat I couldnt do in store tradein cause that was tied to my 1st order...I was just trying to buy the phone they had in stock at one store.
looks like delivery is Mon, fine, but then I have to go thru the tradein process, and the promises Tno made that led me to do this purchase.
It has definitely taken a lot of the fun of getting a new iPhone away..

I know I'm repeating things, but it has helped to vent here, and all you guys were way more helpful than T has been. thanks.

first update i've gotten in over a week

The 128 GB phones, both 6 and 6+, are not flying off the shelves like the other models. That's what that meant. I've been in T-Mobile stores that have had the 128 GB models, but not much else.

Wait, seriously? They've got higher capacity 6 Plus models in store? I was under the assumption that they only had 16GB with no Plus' at all.

Anyone else know about this? I just don't think I can afford to get 2 Plus' full retail at this juncture. Was thinking of using my JUMP! this time around but man if those loooooong ship times aren't discouraging me.

Is anyone finding Plus models in store occasionally?

My backorder status changed twice in 24 hours.

BackOrder 09/28/2014 at 02:31:20 AM is what mine currently says. I have no idea what it means.

Funny I was all fed up on Wednesday as well thats when i decided to call my local tmo store that i have dealt with for years and the guy who works there who has helped me through out the years told me it was a mess with the pre orders!! i told him my situation he said to call 611 cancel the order which only took about 1 hour because later that day i walked in to jump my current phone to a iphone 6 128gb which they had in stock as well as 6+ and was able to complete everything in 20 minutes with no glitches!!

Where was this T-Mobile store? They had 6 Plus in stock there? My store says they aren't getting any.

It has definitely taken a lot of the fun of getting a new iPhone away..

And that my friend is the true issue at hand since T-Mobile originally botched their pre-order system all they way until the false expectations regarding delivery...

As an iPhone owner since 2007, this is the first one I feel like I don't truly want.

Let's come up with a new list..

Who preordered a phone on the 12th/13th that hasn't been charged/seen movement yet?!

What model, color and size?

This is an email ident John's office last night.

"This is the second instance that I'm emailing you to enquire about my iPhone order, the first email was never offered a response. It is frustrating anticipating my order since customer care seems, ERT and the t-mobile.com website seem to be each telling a different story.

How is it possible that people who ordered on preorder day don't have their phones as of TODAY? How is it that Apple's OFFICIAL website quotes shipping as 3 - 4 weeks but with T-mobile is 6 - 8 weeks? Doesn't T-mobile get stock from Apple? This is utter madness. Also, there seems to be a severe lack of communication from T-mobile as to the status of the order. Orders are moving from backordered to pending shipping then to backorder again. Is backordered and pending shipping the same or not? This has really been the source of confusion to me and many others. A forum post at macrumors.com really tells the whole story of how us the customers feel with lack of communication.

I understand that T-mobile isn't the only carrier that is having these shipping issues but at least be transparent and upfront with us. How many stock are you getting from Apple each day? How many fulfillment are actually being fulfilled? If you can't tell us outright at least give us a rough estimate. Most of us would settle for a reasonable and practical estimate. That's all.

If you do decide to respond, my order number is S000****** and my phone number is (***) ***-****

Thank you in advance and I do hope I hear from you or someone in your office soon."

I got a response 10 minutes ago from Nicole from ERT and she gave me a bill credit and a credit on my shipping. Granted, I cancelled my 9/12 preorder and made an order on 9/21 and essentially moved to the back of the line but all I would like is a consistent reply and and adequate communication. I don't mind waiting but at least give me something concrete.

TMo CSRs are giving you an absolute worse case scenario for the 6-8 week delivery time table. If you preordered AFTER the 14th, you can expect your iPhone 6 to be delivered in ~one week. If you ordered a Six Plus you can expect AT LEAST a 3-4 week wait.

16gig gold 6+

You ordered on the 12th, right?

I think it just depends on the store. I went into a store that I've never been in (although I knew it was there), I just happened to be going to my credit union which is in the same plaza. I asked if by chance they had any 6+ in stock, and they said only 128 GB. But, you'll also get plenty of stores that don't/never had any. Not sure how T-Mobile is distributing them.

You'd get silver much quicker than anything else. However, if you're trying to exchange your 6, you only have 14 days to be able to return a phone. You may not make that deadline if you're trying to order a phone to be shipped to you. You can try some local stores to see if they have any 6+ in stock, but you're looking at maybe at least mid-October for shipping for a 6+.

This I understand but my main grouse is the lack of communication and the impression that each branch has a slightly conflicting story.
