Well, I got my 16gb SG+ todayAfter reading everyone's comments about returning the 6+ because it was too big, I was surprised by how not big it was.
Here's a little comparison with my iPad mini and iPhone 5.

Yeah I have smaller girl hands and its fine in my hand. I do most tasks with 2 hands anyways.

Welp, I get the impression T-mo is low on the totem for Apple. Am I wrong? They act like T-mo is the stepchild, then throw how T-mo blew the launch.. its like the perfect storm.
Really tho, I don't think they are being fairly divided among the carriers. You have major retailers selling them too and signing people up for those other carriers, its kinda screwed.
It does seem that whatever T-mo is getting they aren't replenishing stores but focusing on the all the online orders- thankfully! Now if only they could fulfill them in sequence!
I read somewhere too they are only cranking out a fraction of the 6+ compared to the 6. I imagine apple cracking the whip but don't know how many units were produced this week. Anyone got idea about that?

I wonder why some peoples' backorder dates are changing? Mine went to backorder on 9/13, re-backordered on 9/26, and hasn't changed since. Of course, now that I said that... it'll probably change to 12/31/2029.

CONGRATS on getting off the waiting-forever list!
I don't think the 6+ is ginormous either... I think the people who think it is have only ever held/used an iPhone. The Plus is barely bigger than the LG G2 I'll be ditching (well, it's taller because the aspect ratio is different, but it's no wider... and a 5.5" display vs. the G2's 5.2"). The only reason I switched away was the screen size and always said if Apple makes a bigger screen iPhone I'd be back to iOS.
I hope today will be the day all the 9/19 delivery texts people get their phones! After the initial excitement of receiving it, setting it up, etc I'm a little meh, it's about time lol. It's nice of course, but I'm not blown away. Probably because of all the drama since I ordered it.
And just FYI, it is possible to cancel phone orders. I ordered a second phone because I was sure something was wrong with my first order and when the exec guy called last Thursday to say I would be getting this one, he asked if I wanted to cancel the second order and I said yes. He took care of it for me and I received email notifications that it had been cancelled.
If anyone else gets a call from the Executive Team, let us know how it went and if you got any new info.

Yeah, I hope it's possible, and without any more drama. Among the bazillion different things I've been told during this saga, I was told by two reps that I could cancel anytime before it shipped, and a 3rd rep told me "once it's backordered it can't be canceled, you'd just have to refuse shipment."

Sadly, I don't think being charged is necessarily indicative of anything anymore, just like the status changes. The only surefire way of knowing you'll have a phone soon is to have a working (scanned) tracking number.

I still can't figure out why pre-orders aren't filled. Makes no sense. I understand the backorder process and having limited phones, but geez. Hopefully you all get some kind of update. I had a feeling this would happen which was the reason why I didn't go after the 6+

Same, we had a ship date of today and called ups for them to tell us its coming, but they said the exact opposite. "You shipper hadn't send it yet"

I was worried it was going to be too big after hearing and reading some comments. Nice to see the comparison to the mini. 
Dangit, missed my ERT callback because I was in a meeting. He left a message basically saying nothing, that he hope mine would ship in the next day or two (didn't sound too confident, probably just putting me off until the next follow-up call on Thursday), and that he would keep checking to see if my tracking begins to work (don't worry, I'm already doing that myself every couple of minutes).
So uh, basically even ERT is now just in "we'll let you know when we let you know" mode.
I have ZERO doubt I would've been better off (or at least no worse) placing a new order a few days ago.

Just got a follow up call, exec member told me that he doesn't know why my order hasn't been fulfilled even though it was placed on the 12th. He also stated that I should be getting my phone with this shipment of phones that came in but at this point and with the ways things were happening he wasn't sure. He sent me the router free of charge and with free shipping. He admitted that this pre-order was a complete mess.
I asked if I could be shipped any color in 64 or 128g that became available first but was told he couldn't do that for me. Back to checking refreshing my tmobile, ups, and my chase account waiting for a change.
