Anybody know if the phones are shipping from tmobile (after they receive and package them), or directly from Apple? Seems like tmobile is getting them first, since they're sending them out in that shoddy bubble envelope packaging.

----------

I wonder what determines whether they increment this date in the background? Mine hasn't budged from the original 9/25 estimated delivery date.

Not sure, we ordered the same phone but I ordered mine on the 16th.

My wife got hers from shipped from T-Mobile. My guess is that they get the bulk shipments and then the label them in warehouse while throwing them in the bubble bags. Then they go back out the same night. They may print more labels than actually comes in based on an invoice but then end up short a few phones. I can imagine, with how hectic everything is, they probably don't get all the phones on the delivery invoice. They print the labels based on the numbers and then have to wait for Apple to send corrections to the shipment. This could explain why people get a label but nothing gets shipped. This is all educated assumption though.

Never incremented at all - granted, the label was created a day before the 9/25 estimate. It's sad that we all have to look for and try to piece together scraps of info like this to get an idea of what's going on.

That UPS guy said it goes directly into the apple warehouse at the Louisville UPS complex then they get it from apple to ship. I don't believe they're ever actually in T-Mobile hands. Here's the return address on my bubble mailer though.

If there's not tracking/shipping done today on my order I will be rather upset.

That makes promise #2 broken.

I'm on the same exact boat as you. NO CC CHARGE. when the execs call with an "update" I'm going to make it VERY apparent that I want my phone tomorrow.

T-Mobile drop ships it then and UPS takes care of the hand off.

No Movement today(No Charges, No new shipments, No status updates). What are these people doing. Playing Candy Crush in the warehouse :mad::mad::mad:

Still no charge on my order... Waiting patiently for an exec to call me for his 72hour checkup. I'll let him know straight off the bat to save his breath if he's not calling to notify me of my phone being shipped tomorrow..

It's best to email John Legere first and then they contact you usually within 24 hours.

The Exec number goes to a team and they each have different extensions.

And when that exec team calls you, ask for that person's specific phone number and 7-digit extension. I didn't hear from my ERT when I was supposed to so I left her a message as she had thankfully given me her phone number.

The only thing I can think of is Apple didn't think many people would order the 6 plus. I'm seeing orders for the 6 move pretty quickly. And I think everyone ordered the 64GB in both sizes because it looks like the majority of you all are waiting for. 128GB are moving at a decent speed. I just know that next time Apple releases another iPhone, I already know it's going to take forever to receive it. Maybe they don't understand the whole supply and demand thing.

Just got a call from the Execs, how do they know to call when I can’t answer?! I was working out on my lunch break of course and didn't have my cell. Anyway, she basically gave the spiel about my order is back ordered and as soon as Apple sends them inventory they will ship out my phone. They’re gonna call back in another 72, yippee, big freaking whoop thanks a lot!

Might as well throw my hat in... I've been watching the thead for a while now.

Here's the vitals:

- New customer from Sprint, switched and pre-ordered in-store on the 14th @ around 1:30-ish p.m.
- 6+ 64gb Space Grey
- In-store rep assured me I'd get the phone on the 19th, and told me in order to do the etf deal I had to trade in my phone that day (HTC One M7) and purchase something, so I bought $30 little old-school phone to last me the 5 days until I got my iPhone. I was also assured by a phone CS person that I would get my phone on the 19th
- Got the "we'll let you know what's up in 1-2 days" text
- Order status on my.t-mobile has been giving me the "systems currently unavailable" from the get-go, which is funny considering the system worked fine for the router I ordered on Thursday (which I'm getting today... yay.)
- Sent an email to John Legere on the 20th, complaining about the lack of communication, the misinformation and the horrible in-store customer service we got
- got a call less than 24 hours later, was credited first month's bill, around $215
- bought a Samsung Galaxy Light to use until the iPhone shows up, the $30 phone I bought made me want to stab someone. Sadly, the Samsung isn't much better
- Have had 2 follow-up calls since, just got off the phone with the latest one. She had no information but told me, "we're supposed to be getting some in today and if we can ship yours we will"... otherwise I'll get a call back on Thursday.
- no CC charges at all for the iPhone, got my UPS set up and all I've gotten is the router shipping info

Like a lotta people, I'm not as angry about waiting as I am about the communication and the fact that their systems suck. Although I think that will change if there's no movement this week. Apple also needs to shoulder some serious blame here, they really should have held off on the release of the phone until they knew they could meet the demand. That being said, I'm sure they're loving people foaming at the mouth to get their hands on the phones. Ah well... time to wait some more!

Maybe I'll pass the time doing fun stuff on the Galaxy Light... oh wait, I can't.... it's a piece of s***.

Hope we all get something going this week!!

how are you guys getting the 72 hour calls?
When i spoke to the Exec team they said they were going to follow up every 2 weeks!:mad::mad:
