Can someone tell me what it means if your backorder date goes back? it did say Backordered 10/2/2014 not it says 10/7/2014 at 2:15amis this good or bad? based off you guys experience
They still don't have the phone to ship to you. The backorder dates are updated every so often.
the phone came out on the 19th of september, so you havnt even waited 3 weeks yet

mine went to backorder on the 27th and hasnt changed since, so i dont know what sort of order there is to the backorder system, if there is any.
No doubt that there's no order to their system, but some people do have their backorder dates changed to a more current date, as if their system does some type of check to see if the item is available and when it's not, the date is updated.
You're right. I had just gotten off the phone with an ERT and was not pleased at all. I was still mad about it when I wrote that. My apologies.
So I just checked my order on the site and for once was given information. So for recap I ordered 2 Iphone 6+ 16GB one Gold and one SG. Per my order status they have the 16GB Gold reserved in the warehouse and the SG waiting more shipment from Apple. It says they can't ship without the other phone. Has anyone received a SG 16GB 6+ that ordered on or after 9/21? I'm irritated that they wont send the 1 phone that is already reserved b/c that is mine; the SG is my husband's he can wait! I called him and told him it's alll his fault that I haven't gotten mine! bahahaha

it means they tried to fulfill your order again but ran out before they got to you
you will probably get yours in the next batch

Now thats just something else for me to check out religiously. I already have flightaware, ups referrnce tracking, tmobile.com order status page, and my bank account constantly open to see if any changes are made. Now this.
T-Mobile pisses me off. I got a text this morning that said my order was canceled, so I called them to see why and the lady said because I never signed my EIP. So I hung up on her and emailed John and he said someone is gonna call me because I signed it the day I pre-ordered the phone and got the confirmation. So PISSED.......

dude this is a blessing in disguise. youll get your phone expedited as fast as possible, youll get this months bill paid off, and most likely youll get your iphone down payment waived.
so you will basically be getting paid somewhere around $300 for your 2 week wait. id take that all damn day.
They already paid my bill and credited my account $200. And they waived the down payment and overnight shipping I paid for. The only other thing they can do is give me the phone for free

You should be able to tear em a new one with your situation. Don't settle for less than a waived down payment, at least 3 months of free service and no wait time for the phone. That's the least they can do... This is beyond Apple short supplies, this is TMO screwing your order up.

I ordered on the 30th over the phone and have an estimated shipping on the 10th but it changed to 15th but whenever I call the automated system to check up on the status it keeps saying cancelled since the 1st telesales support is aware that their system is telling me that my order is cancelled and assured me that everything is fine, do you guys think the 15th is accurate or it will change again by the time it gets close to it?
