T-Mobile.com preorder thread

T-Mobile pisses me off. I got a text this morning that said my order was canceled, so I called them to see why and the lady said because I never signed my EIP. So I hung up on her and emailed John and he said someone is gonna call me because I signed it the day I pre-ordered the phone and got the confirmation. So PISSED....... Wow. That is utter BS. Why didn't they notify you of this sooner? Did you email them a copy of the signed EIP?

i feel like at this point they should give you a few months of free service and give you the chance to upgrade to the 128gb

I'm going to ask if I can upgrade to the 128gb with no extra charges or for the price of the 64gb

I pre-ordered a Space Grey 64GB Plus on the 12th (No JUMP! New Customer), had my order canceled like many others (no fault of mine or my bank). E-mailed the executive team and was contacted back. They placed a new order for me on the 9/24, gave me a credit of $250 and are now doing the 72 hour check-up thing. I initially received a text saying deliver on 10/3 but that came and went. My status on my T-Mobile still says Backordered (9/27/2014). I know my new order was 9/24, but I've technically been waiting since 9/12... Coming up on a Month now and they just sent the e-mail saying 11/5 delivery, so that will make almost 2 months if that's true.

At this point, If the phone doesn't show next week, I'm most likely going to Cancel and pick up a OnePlus One (http://oneplus.net).

they have been crediting me money but have not been giving me my 72 hour call. I wanted to ask if they could just switch my space grey 16 GB iPhone 6 plus to silver. they have so many silver and gold in stock. I just want my 6 plus i don't even give a flying **** what color it is now:mad:

I feel the same way, send me whatever damn ass color you want, just send it already!

They can't switch phones(color or size). Only thing they can do is cancel and reorder.

That's what I did. I initially ordered the unicorn on the 20th and they basically told me that I won't get it until maybe Nov since many people from the 12-14th still haven't received it.

I canceled and ordered the 128gb + Gold

I really just don't see it taking much longer because they have been sending in the phone shipments fast and good (for the most part). and I have seen movement to all phones except baby unicorn (SG 16 GB IPHONE 6 PLUS) so I'm just hoping and praying thats the next big batch to come in:confused:

Got a UPS my choice notification last night and got all excited. But than saw the shipping weight is 3.40lbs. 15mins later got another UPS my choice notification, got all excited until I saw it was the same tracking #.

I haven't been waiting as long as most of the members on this forum but the Note 4 is looking very good right now.

My wife's 64gb 6 silver was delivered in 1 day. Ordered through TMO on the 22nd and delivered on the 23rd. I had originally ordered a 64gb 6 sg on the 22nd for myself that was scheduled for delivery on the 29th until I refused delivery because I really wanted a unicorn.

Did you get an invite for the OnePlusOne?

I'm trying to get one right now

I hear they're pretty difficult to obtain. Maybe I should just go with the OnePlus One for the next two years. It'll be my first Android-Based phone. Maybe I'll just be a tool and carry two phones all the time... :O

Possibly an idiotic question ahead:

Can I buy a Sprint iPhone and just use it on T-Mobile? Inventory is showing my local Apple store has silver and gold 128GB 6+ in stock for Sprint only. Is there a reason I can't go down there and just buy it outright?

I'm pretty sure the Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile phones are all the exact same phone. The IMEI's won't be recognized by the other carriers, but the hardware should be identical. It's why we've had people buy Verizon and pop their T-Mobile SIM in and have full VoLTE, WiFi Calling, LTE etc.

Edit: What I mean by this is the SIMS can go in and out, but if you call support with hardware that wasn't registered to that carrier, you might run into problems because they'll see it as a none [insert carrier] device. The features will all be fine. Obviously you'll need to buy the phones unlocked from Verizon, AT&T or T-Mobile.

See this thread for more details: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6552532

Sprint however, I believe the hardware in there is different -- but don't quote me on that. I just remember reading somewhere that Sprint isn't very interchangeable with other carriers.

Dofficult to obtain yes, but dont expect something better than a flagship samsung or htc. Its also a chinese based company i believe so get one at your own risk. But thwy are indeed dirt cheap. Just makes me wonder where they skimped to cut costs in half

Gotcha, thanks. That would explain why Sprint phones are everywhere but nothing else.

I just got an invite :D:D

Sweet! Congratulations! Your wait is over? :D

Most tech journalists say they can't find much wrong with the phone. Because they are a new start-up, it seems as though they are operating on razor thin profit margins and opting instead to invest in a track record for this first phone. I assume once they prove to everyone that they can make a phone (and it does seem like a very nice phone!) the price will go up for the OnePlus Two or whatever they call it next.

I'm just going to use this phone until my UNICORN comes in
