ORDER BY: Apple Store
Model: 6 64gb space gray
When: 09/12 (about 04:30 AM PDT)

Actual Status: Preparing for shipment (since 09/14)
Delivery by: 9/19 Standard Shipping

Anybody here are in same status/situation? Do I need worry?

I checked in UPS and Fedex, but I can't find my Tracking Number.

I ordered on 12th and have been preparing for shipment since early Am on 13th with no word period on a ship date.

New tmobile customer with est delivery date 9/19 here.
Where are you seeing that at? I am a new T-Mobile customer as well and the only thing I've gotten was my original order confirmation email. If I check the order status online, it just says "Order Placed," and if I call the line it says my order is back ordered.

Are you JUMPING or being JUMPED?

Clarify that. If you mean am I using JUMP! for both 6+'s then yes, I did. One early 12th and the other one a couple hours after. Expedited shipping too.

OH! Just refreshed and the date is gone now. I have no idea what's going on.

What day and time did you order?

I ordered on Friday but had to rebuild my order on Sat because I used the wrong CC. I was told that I would lose my place in line when the order was rebuilt, but seeing that I am still scheduled for an 9/19 delivery date, maybe my place was kept.

I just spoke to yet another rep from T Mobile. He seemed to know what was going on. He did confirm that phones were not being shipped out until release date. Or at least that's when they will go out of being back ordered. He did say if you ordered on the 12th, jump or not, you will most definitely be in the first order of phones.

All of you might want to consider finding a valid code to get a free 6-12 months of UPS My Choice. Enter your credit card info and what not to create the account (Don't forget the promo code for the free trial!) and then go into the MyChoice settings and disable auto renew.

Voila, free service from UPS to see if a package is coming to your address, you don't even need a tracking number AND you can change delivery schedules and change a bunch of settings (like updating shipment speed I believe).

I did it yesterday so I'm not 100% sure what all the benefits are other than viewing any orders that are bound to your address.

Call 1 800 672 5390. Type your order # in when it asks and it will say when it should be delivered or if it is backordered.

LOL... Yeah, I realized I wasn't clear. I meant are you using JUMP or are you one of us, poor souls, in the back of the line being jumped :)

I ordered 20 minutes after the store went up at like 4:42AM on the 12th. Had estimated delivery date 9/19... then it went to backordered and has been this way since.

At UPS, you can track by "reference number". Your phone number is one of them.

Use your phone number, country, and delivery zip here ("track by reference"):

I got two - a T-Mobile test drive and an Apple ordered iPhone 6.

You evil, evil person -- at first I believed those were your T-Mobile iPhone 6 Pre-orders or something

----------

Might order one of these, hoping it'll look/fit nice with the Space Grey 6+. I ordered a silicone Apple case so there should be no case in the way at the bottom (which is both a good and bad thing)

Anyone got better dock alternatives? I heard Apple isn't making a dock for either 6 models

Gotcha. When I do that, it says backordered. Ordered a 64GB Space Gray 6+ at 4:45AM PST on Friday.

I ordered a 64GB Silver 6+ at 5:45 PM EST on Friday and rebuilt my order on Sat (although it seems like my place was kept). I guess the demand for the grey was significantly higher than the silver (one of the reasons why I ordered it in silver).

Question for international users (Non-USA)

This question is for all users that will use the iphone outside the United States. Ie non-t-mobile, non-att, non-verizon, etc.

I read in many forums that the recommended for those users who will use the iphone outside the USA, is to make the first activation with sim card from the country of residence (logical that the sim card should be active for international roaming), in my case Brazil.

I bought directly from Apple Store T-Mobile Contract-Free.

So, my question is about the activation process, which one do you recommend:

a) Turn on iphone without simcard, syncs with itunes, after synchronized I insert my simcard (Brazil) and makes the activation process?
b) Turn on my iphone with my simcard (Brazil) inserted, makes the activation process and after that sync with itunes?
c) Turn on iphone with T-mobile simcard, makes the activation and then put the simcard from Brazil?
d) Turn on iphone without simcard, make the restore by iTunes, then put the simcard and makes activation?

Sorry by doubts, but this is my first iphone bought in USA.

If you're from Brazil and you live in Brazil you should just wait until you get back there (granted you'll be back there soon) and do it there. I believe I might have had a couple issues bringing one of the first 3G iPads back from the USA to the UK because I used a different sim and what not. Not worth screwing something up.

Then again I don't know too much about this subject, hopefully someone else will chime in.

The phone may be contract free, but I am not sure if it is unlocked.

They will go out of being backordered once t-mobile receives their shipment of iPhones.

Same here, I've never had a back order time stamp either. It simply just says pending shipment.

Just had a Tmo rep tell me that the iPhones that they will have in store will be reserved for those who pre ordered in store and that i may not get one if i go on launch day??? This doesn't sound right to me… has anyone else heard this?

ordered 9/23?! I take it you mean 9/13, right? Regardless, interesting that you have an estimated shipping date and I don't!
