OMG! WHY ME, WHY TODAY!!!

I was going out the door, and the contractors showed up next door w/the excavator..I am stuck here to make sure they don't drive on our brand new driveway...the reason we have a brand new driveway....because they drove the excavator on it & the dumpster trucks.....ARGHHHHhhhhhhhhhhh

got my routine call from Jason, told me (what i already knew) the 2 orders i have were pushed back, SG 64Gb to 11/18 and Silver 128Gb to 12/06.

I told him that since the Gold 128Gb shows as 4-7 days that we should change the order from silver to gold. He did so im hoping i will have the phone soon.
he also added overnight shipping so ill keep you guys updated

Goodmorning MacRumorers...... I sent an email to John and his ERT last night and I had my order canceled. But any good news for anyone???

Good news: Phone showed up today FedEx overnight priority
Bad News: Its my new ShoreTel phone for work & not my 6+.

6+ 64GB silver ordered 9/22.

Man, I am pretty upset with T-Mobile.

I switched from AT&T few months ago and I was told by T-Mobile's ETF representative that I didn't need to cancel my iPhone 6 Plus order from Apple.com after all. Had I not cancel, I would've received the phone long ago. Instead, I now have to wait until November 17 (if at that) to receive the phone from T-Mobile.

Meanwhile, local Apple Stores have the same iPhone 6 Plus models (silver 64GB) for AT&T and Verizon in stock. I am just so frustrated that I am tempted to cancel T-Mobile altogether and go back to AT&T.

9/19: Ordered iPhone 6 Plus Silver 64GB from Apple.com with expected delivery by 10/7
9/26: Told by T-Mobile to cancel Apple.com order to get reimbursed for ETF. Cancelled and placed order through T-Mobile with expected delivery by 10/20
10/12: Shipment pushed to 11/7
11/2: Shipment pushed to 11/17

I did just this, and there's an easy solution.

I walked into my local T-Mobile store and said that my new phones had been backordered forever so I was giving up on them, and I brought with me three iPhones I'd bought from an Apple store an hour before.

They understood completely, cancelled my previous order, activated my new iPhones, and in order to maintain eligibility for the ETF payoff, they sold me three $30 Samsung phones. Not much of an extra cost for being able to early term three lines for "free".

I also traded in three iPhone 5s, and ended up with about $800 or so of credit on my account - I won't be paying a bill in quite a while... :)

Not sure what to do with these leftover $30 phones...

Tried to do this last night and it was a huge fail. The woman at the Tmobile store understood what I was trying to do but she basically refused to do it and kept saying the easiest thing to do would be to call their customer service hotline.

I ended up emailing John and the ER team last night but haven't received a response. Does anyone know how long it takes to get ER to email you back?

thanks

We all can understand your pain but it's apples fault for not having enough phones for tmo to be able to service all of us. Don't lose hope it'll be worth all the agony once you get the phones.

I'm in a somewhat similar situation as you. I'm an AT&T customer who wants to goto Tmobile. I ordered my phone through Tmobile's website but my estimated ship date isn't for another couple of weeks.

Yesterday, stopped by the Apple store and they literally had 20+ iphone 6's of various colors and sizes for Tmobile. I purchased the phone I want but I can't activate it because Tmobile will not pay my ETF since the phone was purchased through Apple and not through them. Now, I'm trying to get John and ER to help me out. If not, I'll just stick with AT&T.

So much for being the "uncarrier" Tmobile's service so far is just as crappy as AT&T.

How is it Apple's fault when it isn't hard to get the same phone for AT&T and Verizon? Heck, if T-Mobile didn't have asinine policy of requiring phone ordered through T-Mobile for ETF reimbursement, my wife would be using iPhone 6 Plus from a month ago.

Did you put your grievance up on the TMO Facebook page...that is when I got a call from a CSR...after I did that...

When it comes to getting the etf through a apple store is tmo's fault but when it comes to having to get the phone from tmo that is apples fault.

Do you know anyone that you could borrow a tmo phone from, just to get your old contract bought out? Not sure how it works, or if that would even work...

Oh, never mind...you have to purchase a phone from tmo..I see that now

Also when you go into a Verizon or a att store none of them have any phones either. Apple is more concerned about providing phones for their stores then carrier stores.

Ordered a Gold iphone 6 64gb this morning and just checked the status and it says pending shipping. Could they be shipping my phone already? I also ordered an iPhone 6+ 64gb gold on Saturday and that one has said backordered since Saturday.

My iPhone 6, 64gb arrived today. Successfully ported Verizon number to TMo and I'm set to go.

It was worth the wait (4 weeks to the day). I am pleased with the phone and glad I didn't go with the 6+.

I know many are frustrated with the wait, particularly the 6+, but it's well worth it IMO. Still don't understand those who state they are jumping to a Note or other Android device. The iPhone and iOS is either the right combination for you or not. If it the right choice for you, why settle because of supply issues.

Apple has production at maximum, there is no way for them to be able to keep up with the current demand.

If anyone in Hoboken NJ is looking for a 6+, the store on Washington St has some. They only had 16GB. I'm looking for a 64gb so I didn't ask what color they have.

I got the iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Silver.

1. I called T-Mobile and asked for exception to get ETF reimbursed without ordering a phone through T-Mobile. Got the approval and the ETF credit card is on the way.

2. I used iPhone 6 Stock Tracker to track Apple Store inventory and picked up iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Silver from nearest Apple Store this afternoon.

3. Called T-Mobile to cancel the order.

That's true. Local carrier stores are often lousy for getting iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. Having said that, my friends and coworkers who ordered 6 Plus through AT&T Verizon website received their phones. And many ordered much later than me (9/26).
