hey can anyone tell me how they got that "free memory upgrade?" the tmobile rep im on phone with is asking so that they can help me get it
There never was a free upgrade. People misinterpreted the offer. The "offer" allowed people to upgrade without any upfront cost. The extra cost is instead pro-rated over the entire lease period. Some people think they are getting an additional account credit, but that isn't happening.

so heres what sucks. i got the email for my moms rg 64 plus, saying shipping between 10/2 and 10/15. but mine sg 128 plus is expected to ship on 24th. wtf... so basically even though i stayed up and ordered at 12:02 pst im not getting one of my phones on release date. those *******s!
I feel ya. I also order right after midnight and it still says processing. I ordered a 128gb silver 6s plus and when I call to ask about it, I was told that being one of the first to order had no bearing on when the phones ship out.

UPS says mine should be delivered by 3pm Monday... anyone else getting the same thing???

I ordered a 64gb space grey iPhone 6s Plus at 3:03am 09/12. Got a text from T-Mobile for processing on Friday, credit card charged early this morning, and got a text with a tracking number today.

JUST received this email

Basically reconfirmimg that I'm still on track to ship by the 24th. They haven't charged my card yet though which I was really hoping they'd get around to doing today...

Anybody receive this "reconfirmation" email and then get their card charged? How long did it take after this specific email?

I am still in the "expected to ship by the 24th" group for my 6s+ 64 gb in gold. No charge (cause I owe $0 with JoD), and no new emails or text messages.

the total came to $213.69 and it was for the 128gb down payment, but they gave me a $200 bill credit that showed up on my account while I was still on the phone with ERT.

Ah, thanks. I completely forgot to ask the staff at the T-Mobile store I ordered from (on Monday) about a complementary storage upgrade. Was too late at that point anyway I believe.

I just received an email from T-Mobile with the modification of my original JOD EIP. It shows the new phone and that my payment including tax is $12.41. Of course as part of the promotion I receive a $12 bill credit. So is my new payment going to be 41 cents? I told you they messed up this EIP!

I should note that as part of our earlier conversation I went back and looked at my EIP and the extra charge of $430.29 is listed as a capitalized cost reduction. There is no mention of a down payment for any reason.

Compared to other Carrier pre-order threads, this one is the biggest with the most replies and views. By this you wouldn't think T-Mobile was the 3rd largest carrier in the US. Then again, maybe T-Mobile's preordering process sucked so much it caused so many people to post.

It happened the EXACT same way last year...

If you go back and look at the T-Mobile preorder thread for the 6/6+ it's almost twice as long (and stressful) as the other three.

I feel like this year is slightly better than last year, but that might be due to a smaller crowd of upgraders. I also think TMo learned a bit on how to communicate better and avoiding telling everyone that their orders were back ordered and that they wouldn't be shipping for a long while.

Guys & Gals,

I've been traveling for the last 15 hours and haven't read the last 13 pages of posts, so I apologize if I'm adding day-old news here, but I just received a shipping notice with a tracking number that confirms that my 64 GB 6s Silver will be delivered on Monday. Yes, 5 days early. Wow!

I do not have any movement (credit card charge or shipping notice) on the second phone, which is a 128 GB 6s Plus Space Gray.

Again, sorry if this is old news, but I have been on a plane all day today flying and this is crazy fresh news to me.

I'll bookmark this post for next year ;)

This year wasn't as bad as last year. That was brutal. The system was down forever. Then the orders were lost multiple times. They had zero order because they started trying to stick people ahead of other people who had jump! since they kinda ****ed that **** up. Then some orders got stuck in the system not processing thru at all. Then some shipping was free for people and some not. MANY people had hundreds of dollars taken off their device or bill, I had around 1k credited by it was all over lol. And they had zero reliable info to tell anyone so each rep would make **** up just to get you off the phone. This year had its terrible moments (maybe more to come) but so far it's been a lot less stressful. - least for me.

I received a text from T-mobile today that said my order has been processed and they gave me ups tracking number. Although I have a feeling mobile will be holding the package till the 24th no way would apple let them ship it out this early.

Ok so we have a situation...

While we had the spreadsheet working and going all nice and dandy, some troll, has decided to mess it all up. I'm tired of restoring the data. For me there is no more point on following that spreadsheet.

I suggest that we all put our current order status in the signature so we can all see whats going on, and at least no one will mess with that info.

We tried, but a few childish people ruined for the rest of us.

I created a Google Forms sheet based on your original version, please free to contribute here:

We have some 60+ orders already so at least is useful to get some trends.

me right now just refreshing my bank account

lol just make a text/email alert threshold for like 50 bucks. So when something charges your account that high it will let you know. Or setting it to alert you for every online purchase will set it off. Least chase/visa and pnc/visa will let you do those alerts. Lets me know instantly whenever. :)
