Seems like iOS 9.1 added the necessary software for developers to utilize 3D touch so perhaps it's a day one update? Not too sure, I just remember updating my xcode and it told me 9.1 was for 3D touch/iPad Pro/Apple TV development stuff.

I guess we'll see soon.
iPhone 6s will ship with 9.0.

There is no final 9.1 yet, and they wouldn't have time to load it.

iPad pro will be 9.1 base.

8.1 is scheduled fir oct 10ish I believe

You typically wouldn't port your number or even let AT&T know anything was up until you had a fully working phone from T-Mobile in your hand. Frankly any CS agent halfway good at their job shouldn't have even let you do it.

It was one of the options when ordering online. I hadn't realized it would be switched over nearly a full week prior to getting the cell phone. Pretty annoying.

Don't get your hopes up on an early delivery. Looks like they are shipping overnight from Louisville. I am pretty sure they are just printing labels and getting shipments ready to go for a Thursday ship/Friday delivery. Apple would have a cow if they got delivered to the masses before the 25th.

Exactly. Why would AT&T even be aware that you're switching? I'm not telling AT&T until I've had a chance to test drive T-Mobile for a few days and then I'll formally start the process when I ask T-Mobile to port my number over.

ALSO - FOR JOD CUSTOMERS

On my line it says my current Lease is active and my new line is Completed

On my sisters line both leases are Completed

Is that normal?
This is exactly what mine says. I called customer service and they said it goes to completed when you sign your EIP. Once you turn in your old phone it should flip flop.

I did it. I made the decision this past Monday in the matter of 10 minutes lol. I walked into a store, told the woman I wanted to switch to you guys and she ported the number over and everything. She was being a little too casual with me and she told me she placed my preorder, after us speaking about it at least a couple of times. I called a couple of hours later because I didn't receive the EIP email yet and lo and behold, she really didn't place the order (dummy). Anyway, she had no problem porting my number over. AND the unlock request was accepted in about one minute (seriously). Very easy transition.

I spoke to AT&T about cancelling service and they said it was already canceled when T-Mobile ported my number over. I was like okay, cool, no more work for me haha.

Just called up T-Mobile to make sure everything was going smoothly.. here's what I was told:

Rose Gold phones are on backorder. People who generally ordered on 9/12 or 9/13 are the ones who are going to get their info first. If you did not sign your paperwork, you will not be getting your phone, or shipping info, until you do. So if you have no contract papers that were sent to you to be signed, check up!

At first the rep could not see my order, but she eventually saw it sitting around in the queue, as I ordered on 9/15. She said I "should" hear something within the week pertaining to my order, even though it says it'll ship BY 9/24. I suspect those that have that silly message in their order should really take it with a grain of salt, especially if you ordered the Rose Gold.

I'm just praying they meant it when they said it should ship by 9/24.

Hello Everyone
Does the T-mobile Iphone 6S from the Apple store come factory unlocked like how the Iphone 6 was ?

Hi I need some advice, I desire the iPhone 6s 64GB rose gold on a lease like T-Mobile JUMP or Apple Upgrade, I also currently own a iPhone 6 64GB gold.
Now a week ago I went to apple website and tried to order the iPhone 6s rose gold 64GB for T-Mobile but no Apple Store in Florida had that option, so I settled for iPhone 6s 64GB gold for Apple upgrade lease option. I heard I can cancel the Apple appointment by not showing up at the Apple Store

Now 2 days ago I called T-Mobile and heard about their jump program and they said they could do the same as Apple upgrade lease option and that I could get the iPhone 6s 64 GB rose gold. So I told the T-Mobile rep I am interested and finished the deal.

Now after reading online about Vodafone carrier it seems for iPhone 6 some people had to wait for more than a month and also had to pay the lease installments Before they got their iPhone 6.

So I would like to know how if it's worth waiting for rose gold with T-Mobile and take chances or play safe by going to Apple Store and easily grab the gold?

If you show up to the apple store at opening you can get the phone you want. they do carry them on the selves but in very limited quantity.
