The rep I talked to said that the upgrades are not "free". You just pay $0 for them upfront but they charge you more monthly. So you end up paying for them in the end.
No way T-Mobile is giving away higher memory iPhones for free. Think about it.
How do you know you still get your $15/$19 payments with this?
I heard they're upping your monthly payments if you got the "free" upgrade.

That monthly increased price is, apparently, only going up starting Monday. This is based on an internal memo screenshot that was posted on Howard forums.
The memo that I looked at stated so. I'll have to see the EIP to know for sure. But I'm not terribly worried. It was a TMO rep that posted the info on Howard forums.
So there are 3 possibilities - get charged $100, have your payment go up a few bucks, or for those who lucked out free. I of course am in the first group. The rep very specifically requested my credit card for a $106.99 plus tax charge for the 64GB upgrade and shipping. I didn't even get free shipping lol.
Generally speaking, the lack of consistency is what people hate the most, like certain Best Buy deals that some can get while others are denied. Congrats to those who actually scored a few upgrade (or two, those who got 128GB free).
I called at 7:30am. Was on the phone for 13 minutes total and it was done. No hold at all, rep picked up the phone immediately.
Wow. So do you have confirmation of your JOD monthly price? I asked for the memory upgrade but rep said it would be $99

She's said no charges and no shipping fees. Thought she was just mistaken and I would be charged the $100 fees on the three 64gb phones. Would have upgraded all to 128 if I knew it was free. Haha. Free $300 is better than nothing!!!!
Pre-ordered a gold 16GB 6s from Apple instead of T-Mobile, as it has insurance for just $5 more (after JOD's $20 intro month). Also getting it on day 1, rather than questioning when T-Mobile might have them.
I called again and asked specifically about the free memory upgrade for this weekend only. The rep had no idea what I was talking about and again said you can pay it up front or have it included in your monthly payments.
Maybe a store rep will know more? I might stop in today when they open.

I also ordered online, order went through around 303 am eastern. I just called back, to make sure everything is OK. And was told that everything is fine but we're just hasn't been completely entered in the computer yet but should soon. Apple must have a lot of stock this year, because so far only the Rosegold options are showing 2 to 3 weeks shipping times, unfortunately that's when I ordered, LOL but I did it six hours ago as well. So I'm hoping I get mine on launch day

You mean to tell me I could have gotten the 128 for same price? That explains why my 64gb I was quoted $16.xx. I thought it was an error on this part and didnt say anything. I had him confirm the device to make sure he entered what I wanted.
