I'm thinking of doing the same thing. The only problem is I just moved to my new address 2 weeks ago (where the phone will be sent to on Friday) and my DL have my old address listed. The name on the package will match the name on the DL. I wonder if they would give me a hard time with my license?
 
Anyone getting their new iPhone friday and then heading to TomorrowWorld in Atlanta?! Can't wait for the T-mobile unleashed pool party!

I also changed my delivery to be sent a UPS Store but then after reading that it might get delayed I changed it back to be hold for pickup at the UPS Customer Center, so I am excited to go Friday morning to pick my 6S+ 64 GB Silver and my wife's 6S+ 16GB Rose Gold!

I think if you go in with your current DL and a bill with your name and new address along with your tracking #, you should be good.

If you ask to be hold at the UPS Customer Center it will be available the morning of the specified delivering date. Other options will delayed your delivery.

One of the Hugest EDM festivals and T-Mobile is a Partner so they have awesome perks for Tmobile customers! Including their portable towers so tmobile customers have signal!
 
Ok just changed it to pickup my package at customer service center.

I have a lot going on Friday and don't have time to wait for UPS and their 8-hr time gap of a window.

My cousin didn't pre-order hers with T-Mobile, so I offered to go to the Apple store with her during her reservation time.

The things we do...

...for family......

...my nerves.........

...I'm gonna Murk everyone there I'm sure.

Better check on that... Some UPS customer counters don't make those packages available until the regular driver for that route returns for the day.. Also, you can't just arrive the morning of and expect to have it waiting for you -- UPS tells you that you will get a call on the number you provided when the package is ready for pickup.

Best to check with your local customer counter for their procedure.

Accurate.

I'm on with UPS now trying to get it changed to a CC (it won't let me online :rolleyes:), and they told me that the reason there's a day delay with any place other than the CC is that they have to change the label. If you hold it at a CC, there's no need to change the label, therefore no delay. It just waits at the CC for you.
 
Finally got my tracking #. It says phones will be delivered on Friday, but I doubt it. I didn't fork over for overnight delivery. Not in that big of a hurry.

I've picked up the last 3 iPhones at launch and it's always there on the morning of launch day. The phones don't go out with the drivers, they stay at the hub. Thus they are available.
