By the way, does anyone know until what time UPS delivers? Trying to figure out "by end of day" for UPS standards

3pm-7pm or if you're lucky 10am-Noon

I'll have to back him up on this one. Last year I had the same time frame as I have now (plus, I know that UPS usually delivers in my neighborhood around 3P), but my phone wasn't delivered until about 8P. The driver did say that on iPhone launch days that they do run behind because they are delivering many more packages in one day than they normally would. But, they are supposed to deliver every package that they have, no matter how long it takes.

Are businesses affected? I know Next Day is guaranteed end of day but businesses are usually 3 or 4:30pm guarantee. I hope I don't have to stay late at work on a Friday just for my phone lol

People have gotten deliveries as late as 9pm which is why I did the 2hr guarantee window.

How do you do that? Or could you explain that?

From what I was told, free guaranteed overnight shipping was given to ALL Jump customers who pre-ordered on the 12 & 13. After that, it's paid. However if you got lucky, you got it for free after the fact.

I ordered on the 12th, JOD, and yes - T-Mobile told me it would be automatically upgraded to overnite shipping -- but thats not what actually happened.

Thanks I was wondering how that would work because my EIP (no IMEI on it yet) stated $30 something for the 6s plus and I didn't see anything about credits or promotions to bring down that payment but signed it anyway. Figured I could dispute it later if necessary.

It's really weird how they're doing things...

12&13 = Pre-Order OFFICAL (9/25 Delivery)
14-19th = Pre-Order (after 9/25 Delivery)
20-Present = Pre-Order (9/25 delivery because of more stock)

...but T-Mobile didn't update the delivery date of the people with an October / November date (i.e. people in the 14-19th date range) and they really thought these people wouldn't find out???

I have a 6s RG 64GB that is now In Transit from UPS, but I also have a 6s+ RG 64GB that is still "Ready for UPS". Anyone have any thoughts? Both were ordered at 3am.

I'm debating on whether I should just go to the Apple store early tomorrow and get one via the Apple Upgrade program, especially since I have to catch a flight tomorrow night. I do have a reservation because it took me an hour to get on the phone with T-Mobile.

This is new behavior for UPS. Last year for the 6, it moved to either TN or KY and sat for days until tonight and started to move.

That's a UPS MyChoice feature I believe. I'm not sure if you pay extra for it or not ($5 at most).

I heard that too. I ordered my iPhone's originally on the 12th, but it was corrected by ETR on Sunday night. (Sigh) It's going to be a long weekend!

My experience with that order status page is that it can be unreliable, which is why i use the My T-Mobile page. However, it appears that it may be working a little better this year, so I'd say to keep using that in the interim. Also, keep trying to check by reference on the UPS site because they may get your package before anything updates on the T-Mobile site. But, you won't get any email updates, unless you're on JUMP On Demand, in which case, they will send an updated JOD agreement once your phone has been shipped.

They put the full price on the EIP and discount it via a bill credit. That way you can't just pay off the phone immediately at the discounted rate and walk.
