planes go to the UPS distribution center and then the ground transit from there........
Is anyone not showing that a signature is required in their UPS tracking info on the site? I ordered two phone and neither tracking number shows signature required.
Did a pre-order on 9/12, 128GB 6S+ Gold.. Regular jump insurance. Got the charge and tracking info on the 21st. Was told by the original rep I would have the phone tomorrow via next day air. Lo & behold I got ground shipping. Called T-Mobile (wait time was 19 minutes I recommend the call back feature) and another rep said that on pre-order day there was no option to do next day air shipping.. So I guess I gotta rock with my Note 4 for another weekend..
Not from FL but I have 1 out of 2 packages that has no origin scan yet... the other one was scanned this morning.
Looks like a departure scan of 3:59 for mine; mine might be flying to Newark (Im in the DC area)
I'm an employee and I was at another store witnessing a rep tell this to every preorder customer she set up, despite the website clearly showing over half of the models being backordered 2-3 weeks at the time. Some people just have no idea how preorders work. The phone has to be in stock. So take that promise lightly depending on what model and when you ordered it
Damn! ERT helped me fix my order and it was finalized at night on 9/13. I paid 6.99 for shipping and handling meanwhile others received it for free. I checked this morning to see when my phones will arrive and to a surprise, it comes out as 9/29. I am kind of mad at the fact that I'm not getting it on launch date when I was promised to receive it on 9/25. I head to my college class and come out to see if perhaps there was a miracle or anything. Guess what? It comes out as 9/30 as the new scheduled delivery. Thanks UPS & T-Mobile. Thanks Obama.

I was told by two different employees on the 12th when I preordered in store that I'd have it on the 25th. They didn't give me any shipping options. I'm a bit pissed as I feel they were very dishonest. I'm just trying to keep my cool as that isn't going to help me get through the weekend.
That's because a signature is not required for the iPhone pre-orders. It's stated on the UPS site.
For anyone who's from Orlando area and those that are delivered out of Orlando hub, We have 2 fights today First was scheduled for 2:41 and has not left yet. The Second is set to leave at 4:27. If you do not make those they do have an overnight flight that departs at 3:58 AM.

Wasn't her fault I was given wrong info.. I know she probably got an earful today and we even joked about how she should take off tomorrow cause it's gonna be worse caller wise.
