UPS has my 6s located in my hometown (though it says its still shipping to my university).

Honestly tempted to ring up mom and be like "STORM THE UPS CENTER IM ON MY WAY TO PICK IT UP" since its just 2 hours away. :D

Sorry if this post if off track, now I know I'll be getting my phone, I just let my mind wander

I used to have Android till last year, then switched over to iOS, but never imagined I will have so much competition to get the iPhone at launch day, even though am paying a premium price for it. I wonder if there are other popular phones with such demand on launch day, any thoughts?

Should be departed to my house (I wish... sigh)

Yeah - I'd advise to move it over manually instead of using the SIM portal online - it says it could take up to 2 hours, usually it's done in 10 minutes, but not sure about tomorrow.

The phones do not come with SIM ejectors anymore, but last year I think I just used a staple lol.

I would not advise this. T-Mobile makes lots of mistakes and you don't want them to accidentally have that SIM linked to both phones.

Mines still sitting in Louisville

Looks like its the same as last year. Not leaving Louisville until late at night and causing me to worry.

Don't think so. I haven't seen lots of people rushing for Samsung, HTC, LG, etc. I preordered the Samsung S6 and got it a couple of days early. I heard of no massive wave of fans trying to get their hands on it. The only smartphone that I know that people stand in line for days is the iPhone.

Mine departed at 4:17 heading for Los Angeles. It's either on the flight to LAX or to Ontario. Either way everything looks great. SUPER STOKED!

Just a FYI: If the phones were loaded up with iOS 9 and you have upgraded your phone to iOS 9.0.1 either today or yesterday, you will need to do the following when you get your brand new phone :):

Either

1. Start as a fresh phone, install the update to iOS 9.0.1, back up old phone, and restore the new phone to the latest backup.
or
2. Back up your old phone to iTunes and set up your new phone from the iTunes account.

You cannot restore a phone running iOS 9 to a backup of iOS 9.0.1. Since the phones were just shipped from China, and were in a warehouse for a couple of days I doubt that they were updated to 9.0.1.

Hope this helps some of you avoid a headache when getting your new phones :) Congrats and good luck!

I'm getting the same thing on mine. I hope they didn't make a mistake and are flying our phones out of Florida!

Edit: nah..they're just leaving Miami and heading to the various cities, I hope.

They are probably moving it from the airport part of UPS to the truck stop part. Mine did that in Jacksonville today. When I lived in Seattle, there was also always that extra transfer for air packages.

.

It would depart the facility to which it arrived to the sorting facility. Then it will arrive there, then it will have another departure scan to the truck that is gonna deliver it (unless you went the hold for pick up route).

Thanks for the information

I'm going to try and hit up a T-Mobile store tomorrow and hopefully pick up one. I will be trading in a paid off 6 plus, but I'm required to pay half for the device upfront for EIP so I'll use that to cover it.

Why not just do jump, you save $126 off the cost of the phone over 18months then use the buyout option.
