Mine had a departure scan at 3:15 EST. From Louisville.. I'm in Atlanta it is 10:18 and still no arrival. Is this normal? It still says Delivery day 9/25

I'm in the metro Atlanta area and my tracker says that the plane went from Louisville to Knoxville, TN, when I was expecting it to go to Atlanta. It left Knoxville at 8:51, but I'm thinking the phones are on a truck versus a plane. Guess I'll find out soon enough.

We all hate repeating things and I've repeated so many things already. Every 5 pages or so you'll find the instructions posted by someone. Most of us have spent time reading this entire thread. Why should you get the easy way out? :p

First of all it's a simple question and you are all over the forum as the "go to" guy!! 2nd it's never that serious but u got it slim!!

I have the same problem, I live in Chicago and the departure scan was 4:10pm Central time, its 9:30pm now and no response. But I think the phones could be on a truck, instead of a plane. So I say give it couple of more hours :)

It probably just wasn't scanned yet or ready to move, or could be a UPS system glitch. They happen. Yours departed so relax, take a breath, you're fine.

People, people, you gotta' stop worrying so much. I've done 5 iPhone launches and 3 iPad launches and I've always received them on release day whether they came from Apple, Verizon, Sprint, or T-Mobile. First of all it's only a phone, you won't die without it. Secondly, UPS gets paid a ton by Apple and the carriers to make sure their logistics go off without a hitch. So unless a plane crashes and your phone already departed from Louisville, barring any unforeseen problems with a truck getting hijacked or if you are in one of the 2 ZIP codes where the Pope will be, you have nothing to worry about.

So I'd like all of you to just sit down, take a breath, have a snack, smoke a cigarette, listen to some good music (except for the guy with the Beats headphones who really should do some research about headphones and buy a real brand like Sennheiser or Audeze; I have $100K headphone system so I know what I'm talking about), go for a walk, take a nap because it's always a long and exciting night on the night before launch, have sex, shut up, take a Valium, or do whatever calms you down. You'll get your phones and then you'll be unhappy again since the anticipation is always more fun than the actual thing itself. But there's no need to keep fretting. You'll have it within 22-25 hours. :):apple:

Best post ever! You're right man, just seeing everyone else posting that theirs has arrived, etc... It confuses me. I'm going to a music festival all weekend so it'd be nice to take some dope pics! I'm sure everything will work out.

I am in the same boat as you, I pre-ordered on the 12th, was told I would be sure to get it on the 25th, but now the UPS tracking says it won't be here until the 29th. I spoke with someone at T-mobile and they told me I should of paid for overnight shipping if I wanted the phone on Friday. I wasn't give an option when I ordered it the phone, I guess it is my fault thinking T-Mobile was like AT&T. AT&T always had free shipping and I always got the phone on day one.
What phone did you get?

I live in ATL, GA but my tracking status is still "Order Processed for UPS"..

Is this a bad sign? Someone please give some insight.

Will T-Mobile/UPS require my signature if I'm not home tomorrow or will they just deliver it?

For people who have the departure scans but no arrival scan yet, don't be worried!! I was worried too but I just got an arrival scan. My speculation was right, some of the phones are on trucks! My departure and arrival scans are 6 hrs apart. The phone is soo close to my house right now :)

My phone is literally 20mins away in the UPS facility.... waiting for tomorrows delivery.....
