Yes this whole experience has been horrible. I'm not even too sure if it's even accurate and actually gonna happen. I'm not gonna get my hopes up but at the same time I'm excited. I guess we will see.

Maybe your order status data is like my lease information- There are 3 different ways to look at your account, T-Mobile app, mobile web site, desktop web site. So if I look up leases on my account each one says something completely different!
So just like you can get 3 answers by talking to 3 different people at T-Mobile, you can get 3 different answers just by looking at the data in 3 different ways.

No Wonder they can't tell you when your phones are shipping.
 
It sounds like they have something set up wrong. First let me ask this: What type of signal are you seeing on the phone? LTE or 4G or worse? Is there a red dot on your phone icon? When you check VM are there messages for you? When someone calls you does your phone ring?
Says 4G. I don't get any text messages either; however iMessage works. I have 3 bars but it matters not I have been in LTE areas as well. No red dot indicator at all. No text, no voicemail. Phone will ring, yes. I am taking them back tomorrow, I don't have time to screw around with this. How hard is it really. New phone, new line, no service. Got to blame Tmobile here, they are nice on the phone but are at a loss on how to help.

I can understand your frustration. In fact I share it. But I do think I'd give them one more chance to fix it. That is surely a provisioning problem. Seems that they could fix that quickly.
 
Those of you who has done a return/trade-in to T-Mobile, which shipper did you use? Does it have to be UPS? Thanks in advance.
Did they not send a shipping label? If not and you're responsible to ship it in yourself I don't think it matter as long as you have tracking for your reference and take pictures that way they can't say they received a damaged device. All this after you contact T-Mobile and inquire about the shipping label, if you haven't already.
 
FYI

Today I went to the store to return my previous iPhone (Jump on demand) the representative almost tell me that I need to use the mail to return the phone but other representative said "You are wrong, for all the people who preordered the iPhone 6S or 6S Plus doesn't matter the way, have to return the previous phone to the store" so she checked again and in less than 10 minutes she closed the lease.

Won't he will!!! I received this today at 3am. It's now 5:21am. It was ready for ups on the 29th and they didn't update me until now. And it's already here and will be out for delivery today. Finally I will revive my phone today. I hope after all the head ache we all have had everyone has their phones today or very very soon. I will stick around until we all are happy with our phones. I'm beyond excited for today. God is good guys.

I'm Going to get it today too!!! Yay :) I just got on to ask you if you had received shipping info! For all those waiting, you likely will get it before the date. Mine had said between 10/2-10/7, then to shipping on or before 10/4 to shipped sept 30 :D
 
Just as a side note, I didn't get shipping info from tmobile. In fact, they still haven't updated the explorer status. Still says the same as of yesterday. I randomly decided to try shipping by reference on UPS' website. The reference is the phone number (no dashes or spaces) you have with tmobile.

I switched few weeks ago amid a big travel swing. I've had the phone here at home and all over the country and have been VERY impressed with the level of service (my office used to have like two bars of service with VZW and now has five). I agree with the other poster. I think there is a provisioning issue with you because TMo has really upped their network game.

I agree, so far phone service has been better than expected. I have dropped a couple of calls, and had some issues when on calls people claim they cannot hear me. This is both on wifi calling and without. But this provisioning issue with no text or VM notification is a deal breaker. I have and am giving them the patience of waiting. Tier 2 support ticket (whatever that really means). Said by sat I would get a call back to advise status. In the meantime, if a client calls or texts; I have no way of knowing if a VM was left, and no way of receiving text. That's where I have to draw the line.

Like them or not, I must move back to my other service. Believe me, I so want to say bye bye to ATT.

I didn't get shipping info from T-Mobile until after my device shipped. I tracked it with my reference number (phone number without dashes) on the UPS site and found my tracking number. Plus I'm signed up for UPS My Choice and they send emails to alert you of any packages coming to your home.

Try downloading the app YouMail. I get a notification for any vm left and if someone call when my phone is dead I get a notification once it come back on that I got a call. It's the best vm service out and it's free. Also you can pick different greetings for all your contacts or just certain people. I have one that say I'm at work and another that let people know I'm sleeping.

If you didn't get a shipping label, you should take it to a store. The return shipping labels are through USPS and have an ID printed on it that identifies you (that's how Asurion knows who the package is from). I would not attempt to return the phone myself without this label.
