I love T-mobile

My wife and both have the nexus 4 $299 contract free phone from google.

My wife and I are on one of the last of the bring your own phone contarcts. Just 2 monthes shy of them going contractles.

I have a $10 loyalty discount and a 15% employee discount from my union.
After taxes and regulatory fees I pay 99.98 for unlimited talk and text.
My wife has 2Gb of 4g and unlimited edge after. I have the true unlimited 4g plan. I routinely use 5GB to 6GB a month.

I stream movies and music when ever I want. I never have to worry about finding wifi signals like I had to when with att.

Everything went exactly as he said. He applied the $1000 credit as promised, and my TMobile bill is currently sitting at -$750, which should last for quite a few billing cycles at $126 a month.

I'm PM you his info.

I'll PM it to you as well, Coolio93.

Ok, will do...thanks!

I'm in Southern Cali and t-mobile is still horrible. I tried it a few years ago with the G1.

I haven't had so many dropped calls and no signal messages in my life than in the past two weeks. I thought I save money, but I ended up with headaches and frustration. Give me ATT/Verizon or death.:p

Moving back to T-mobile as soon as the 5S comes out... Sprint is taking forever in bringing LTE to the Raleigh/Durham area. A local tech site said LTE would be available late 2014 for the Raleigh/Durham area.

*shrugs* I was on Sprint only for the iPhone and unlimited data, anyway.... now that T-mobile has the iPhone/unlimited data and the Sprint contract is up....time to go back..

When is the last time you tried T-Mobile?

That's funny. I'm also a SoCal resident and T-Mobile (Verizon also an exception) is the strongest network around here. AT&T is the worst.

They still throttle down to EDGE, unless you opt for the more expensive plan.

That's true and they don't have any "no more throttling" commercials and never have. They just advertise it as unlimited because it doesn't stop when you hit your cap, you just get throttled. Only the $70 plan in truly unlimited with no caps or throttling.

Have you ever even left NYC?

SoCal is littered with EDGE on TMo.

TMo can't touch VZW or AT&T
I travel 3 times a month I have posts to back it up. What about u? Do u just drive around Boston in your Audi A3????

Doubtful. I see right thru your BS, especially since you say that you've never encountered EDGE.

The A3 is nothing, but a glorified loaner car. That's about it. Sorry, if that's all you can afford.

My Audi S7 is slightly more expensive than that ;)

Do you have any sort of data to back this up?

And no "my buddy says so" doesn't fly around here.

just because I can afford a s7 does not mean I should buy one. I'll save that money for my kids. Boasting about your assets on a site like this tells me a lot about you.

Now your just being plain rude! Way to go!

Oh please. I'm not the one in complete denial.

Get back to me when you can have a constructive conversation about the topic at hand. (Proper grammer would be nice too) I feel like I'm talking to a wall.

Until then, you've earned a spot on the prized ignore list.

Anyway back to reality. T-Mobile is fantastic:)
Can't wait to October when they start rolling out LTE advanced features.

I have been a TMO customer since 2005. My wife and I both use a Samsung Galaxy S2 phones. These phones are good but now that TMO came out with the iPhone 5, I may switch in October. Unfortunately, I have to think about money. The iPhone 5 is expensive. I am hoping that TMO will let me do an exchange, Galaxy for iPhone. I don't want to finance a phone and make monthly payments. I will have to wait and see.

Am I the only one who finds it ironic that this is coming from the guy who bases his opinion of a carrier based solely on their coverage on a single street in a single city, and completely ignores positive coverage reports from people living in other cities in other parts of the country?

Get back to me when TMo's BS ad campaign of nationwide 4G is actually factual. Until then, the magenta boys have no leg to stand on. TMo has left tons of EDGE and GPRS on major highways around here. Nationwide 4G, my ass.

Except the maps show it all. T-Mobile's coverage is piss poor. When you have cities that are all EDGE, and big chunks of states like Connecticut with no coverage, you know there's a problem. Their coverage is pathetic, and they could offer unlimited everything including making toast and eggs in the morning for $30/mo, and it still wouldn't be worth it.

Your not the only one, there are plenty of members that have chosen to ignore him and his posts.

My single street (actually every street I've been on in my city of employment) has 20-40 down and 15-30 up. I could care less how tmobile works in other areas, where I live.... I pay 30 a month on my friends plan and have speed that my broadband providers don't even offer.

I'm just calling him on his BS.

I do not need to stay with t-mobile any longer to tell the service is still the same quality as it was 4 years ago.

T-mobile is still a joke. 4g service is just EDGE in reality. And taking advantage of unlimited data that is unrealistic.

Unfortunately I do not have the luxury of living on the only street in America that has decent t-mobile coverage.

What does this have to do with anything? You asked for examples where T-Mobile is the best network some people in some areas. I simply pointed out the fact that you've ALREADY gotten lots of responses in this thread and others to that affect. You constantly argue that T-Mobile won't work for anyone, and anybody who even considers it must be nuts or live in a ghetto. I didn't say they'll work for everyone, and neither has anyone else. Stop painting us as though we are.

Except the maps show it all. T-Mobile's coverage is piss poor. When you have cities that are all EDGE, and big chunks of states like Connecticut with no coverage, you know there's a problem. That's the case where you live. It's less so where I live. Notice I said LESS so. Want to talk about piss poor coverage? Try making a call from my house with AT&T. Oh, sure their maps claim that coverage in my area is "Good". But considering their definition of good is "SOME in-building coverage" (emphasis added), it's not very difficult to meet that standard. The best speeds I can get in this "Good" coverage area is 0.64Mbps down and 0.11Mbps up on my 4S in an area with HSPA+ coverage, and I can't hold a call longer than 5 minutes.

Congratulations. You just added yourself to the list of people that AutoUnion39 will refuse to acknowledge. That is, the growing list of people who clearly state that T-Mobile works great for them everywhere they actually need it to.

Want to talk about maps? Let's talk about AT&T's maps and the fact that what they call "Good" coverage really is limited to "...some in-building coverage." As I said in my previous post, SOME in-building coverage means downlink speeds of less than 1Mbps and an inability to hold a call for longer than 5 minutes. That's just in my house. When I go to the grocery store down the street I get no service at all. Yet AT&T still calls it "Good" coverage.
