I am already a TM customer but last time bought my 6+ outright from Apple. Can I go into a TM store today join JOD and get a 16g 6, (not even open it) then tomorrow jump to a 6Ps? and just pay the extra $100 and turn back in the 6? This way I can get priority ordering?

I can later sell my 6+ that I own on eBay.

So we can order online? I'm guessing it's to place an order online and pick up in store and exchange our iPhone 6? I can't read the tweets at work.
He doesn't actually say how current JOD customers will order the new phone. I would assume it is online, but in an earlier tweet he said he would more news later

i mean according to the T Mobile they are offering 6s for 524$ that is for 16gb. so what is the price for 64gb?

You pay the $99, or $199 if you want the 128gb, at the time of getting the phone. So the "payment" is still the same for whatever model you get, you just pay for the extra memory up front. If you get the 16gb, you pay nothing up front.

Long time AT&T grandfathered unlimited data plan user here. My wife is also on AT&T, but just uses a 250mb data plan for $15 a month. We've been doing 2-yr contracts and subsidized pricing since the iPhone 3G.

I'm considering the idea of switching to T-Mobile, but am having a hard time understanding how much a 128 GB iPhone 6s+ will cost. Would it be $24 a month plus $199 up-front to cover the cost of the increased storage?

I appreciate someone helping me understand this one...thanks!

Edit: it looks like bullz7210 answered my question as I was typing it...

I'm going to post a transcript of a recent chat I had with a T-Mobile rep regarding my eligibility for this promotion, can anyone make sense of it?

TMobile:
We have received your information and will connect you with a TMobile
Chat Specialist soon.
Grace V: Hi Adam!
You: Hi, I bought an iPhone 6+ through the JUMP program last year will
I be eligible for the free upgrade when the new
iPhone comes out later this year?
You: Hello Grace
Grace V: I appreciate the info and it's great you're interested for checking upgrade eligibility! I will help you check this.
You: Thank you I
read about the new offer in the news but wasn't sure if I qualified
Grace V: You're very welcome, Adam.
Grace V: To make sure, is it the Jump! On Demand that you have read; it's leasing for the phone for 18 months.
You: Yes that's it
You: I can't remember if I signed up for the 12 or 18 month lease
Grace V: Thanks for confirming.
Grace V: I see here that you are signed up for the Jump! 2 program we have and can upgrade again after paying half of the
price of your current phone. You can process Jump! upgrade once eligible and will need to trade in your current phone. The
remaining installment for your iPhone 6 will be paid off and you can start with a new installment for the new iPhone you are
planning to get.
Grace V: Right now, there's remaining balance of $56.25 to be eligible for Jump! upgrade.
You: Ok so after 2 more monthly payments I will be eligible then?
Grace V: Yes, you are correct!
You: And I can upgrade with $0 down and the $15 promotional rate?
Grace V: Yes, that will be an option for you.
You: Perfect, thank you so much
Grace V: You're very welcome! You can also take advantage of that at any moment though you will be charged for 2 EIPs
monthly for the current one and the new phone included on the promotion.
Grace V: May I please know if you have other question at the moment?
You: What does EIP mean?
Grace V: Oh that will be for the Equipment Installment Plan for the phone.
You: Makes sense. Thanks again!
Grace V: The new promotion we have for iPhones have $15/month EIP as you will receive $12 monthly credit.
Grace V: You are so much welcome and my pleasure chatting with you. A wonderful day and take care, Adam!
You: Sorry, one more question
Grace V: No problem.
You: Will I be receiving this $12 monthly credit effective immediately?
Grace V: Yes, that is right once you process Jump! On Demand and the charge for the EIP of $15/month is billed.
You: How do I process Jump On Demand
Grace V: Great you asked! You can visit the any nearest TMobile
store in your area to process it. Instead of paying the regular
rate of EIP for the phone, it will only be $15 once the $12 bill credit is applied.
Grace V: Would you like me to visit the nearest store in your area?
You: That is ok, you have been very helpful
You: Have a great day!
Grace V: Thank you so much! You too, take care.
The agent has exited the chat. Thank you for chatting with us today.

Actually, per T-Mobile, there are a few nuances to the pricing. I believe this chart from the company itself will solve everyone's issues in this department.

okay. that makes sense. Thanks

3/JUMP! and JUMP! On Demand customers get priority when you pre-order in the first 48 hours. That’s all you have to do!

I'm on the jump 1 and I'm already eligible to upgrade. So I can be assured that I can preorder from the site? I've never done a preorder so when the time is up to do so do I click on the jump button or do I go through some preorder process and complete the jump later?

I'm in the same boat as you and can't seem to find an answer anywhere. I'd feel safer going in store but it might be sold out by then :(

So confusing. We were initially told JOD is only in store but now it's saying we get priority when preordering online. It's less than 2 days til order time. I hope we get this cleared up soon.

The waiting for the answer is killing. I'm expecting the answer later today or tomorrow morning.

IMO this is how it should work. You would sign into your account and see a button that says "Click here to JOD to iPhone 6S or 6S+". You click that button and it then shows you the color options as well as GB size just like on the Apple site. Once you pick size and color it tells you ship dates. This way you can see if you'll get it launch or after. Could effect size and color you choose. If you previously paid the down payment you would just put in shipping address, otherwise you pay the down payment, put in shipping address and you're done. It would be straight forward and then you just wait.

And how about trading in the old device?

And how about trading in the old device?
When I signed up for JOD I was told that they would send me a box to return the old phone in. Of course I took this with a grain of salt as not every employee know every little detail of JOD

what about applecare? What happens if the phone breaks? The first year is covered by applecare and what if they replace the phone? Can that phone be traded back in because the serial numbers will no longer match?

I was told if you replace the phone with AppleCare you might be SOL. I went with their insurance for that reason.

hummmm so if the headphone jack stops working, apple would just swap my phone. What would TM do? Would I have to pay the $180 deductible to get a replacement?
