I called T-Mobile this morning to get some info and ended up calling a few times as I was getting a conflicting info (I sent you an email, but you can ignore it now)


One thing I want to mention to everyone - it seems like if you make any changes to your T-Mobile account after you got your free unlimited LTE, the change will invalidate this promotion for you and the other party. I don't know if the change would have to have something to do with lowering the cost of your line or even enabling and disabling some free option.. please don't make any changes to your account unless you absolutely have to. Another interesting thing - your unlimited LTE service may stay intact, but it won't be free any longer.

So, if you absolutely have to make changes to your account, please contact your refer or referee and let them know.

P.S. It doesn't matter what T-Mobile rep is telling you. If you call back with the same question and speak to another rep you may get a conflicting response. I called 3 times today and got conflicting info for every single question I had.

Please PM if anyone is looking to switch to T-Mobile. I have been with tmobile with 2 years and have the simple choice plan with 5 lines with 2.5gb of data.

T-Mo referral team said that the only way I can get unlimited LTE is to refer someone now... oh boy :eek::eek:

Need to verify something....

If I bring a family plan over, only 1 line can do the promo? Meaning I can't do multiple referrals for each line under the family plan ?

P.S. Please note - I'm an exiting customer (referrer) looking to refer a line for new customers who have not had any lines referred yet. The reason I say it here is because I get lots of refer-a-friend emails from existing customers who think I'm a new customer looking to be referred:).
 
Anyone had any luck doing this with the credit-check free Simple Choice plans? The tiny print seems to indicate they may be excluded, but I can't really fathom why that would be the case.
