Where did you see that? I thought 2.5gb expires tomorrow, I didn't see anything about refer-a-friend expiring

There was some discussion in one of the forums that it was supposed to end by Sep 30th but it got extended by a month. I said tomorrow "may" be last day. I certainly hope it gets extended.
 
I'm curious if it has anything to do with referee. Do you know if your referees came from vzw, at&t, sprint or not? Do you know if they did port in?

I have some "approved" that were linked less than 10 days ago, but others, that linked more than 20 days ago are still "Pending Validation".

I suspect it may have something to do with the above or the referees contacted referral team for something and got approved immediately.

My sis did ported her number from att to tmobile.

How would that work with the referrals? Is there a way I can get the unlimited LTE too?

I referred a few people who were on prepaid. All got unlimited LTE.

here's what you need to do:
1. switch to postpaid simple choice plan(not starter)
2. make sure you have 1gb data plan. tmobile reps get commissions for extras. Create an account at t-mobile.com and verify you have 1gb. (if you have more than 1gb when you do next step, you'll end up paying $10 for unlimited LTE)
3. find a referrer (you can use me - mlm507@yahoo.com) then create an account here and specify your referrer. Make sure you specify a referrer, not referee, otherwise you won't get unlimited LTE and your email may get blocked in the system.

I don't know when this promo expires, but if you worry just move to simple choice now. By the way, this is not "simple choice contract", it's postpaid but not contract

I added a line and it was ported in from metro pcs prepaid, will I be able to get unlimited for that line?

I don't think I had ex metro pcs customers but I don't see why you shouldn't get it. I think you need to be a referrer for this line

I don't think so but you can try.

You may have to call in and have them do something on their end. That may get you LTE, but whether you are getting credit or not you'll know once you get your bill

Spoke to the rep at 866-299-8922

I spoke to the T Mob rep at the 866 number and he processed the referral and I received the unlimited data plan on my bill... Thing is, I never received the 30$ credit. So now my bill is increased 30$ a month!

I am in a bind for answers since the 866-299-8922 number closes on Fridays and opens on Mondays.

Do you think the representative just changed the plan manually? My referral webpage still says "pending verification."

This is very discouraging. I hope someone else can give me their $0.02 based on personal experience.

How much data did you have before the referral?
When did you get your unlimited and what's your billing cycle? Is it exactly a $30 charge on your billing statement or a prorated amount?

I got my unlimited 3 days before the end of billing cycle and got charged $3. A quick call fixed the issue They said the issue with credits will be taken care of within a few weeks and about 10 days later I got 5 $30 credits for additional lines I referred within those 10 days

I think you should call 611 and ask them to adjust the bill and hopefully a couple weeks later you'll see credit(s) on your account

unlimited LTE has nothing to do with "pending validation" status, the latter has to do with the $25 card.

You can try calling 611 again to get credit for $7, if you haven't gotten it already.
I wouldn't worry about the future bill for now. the $30 credit may get posted on your account before 11.22

As for "pending validation" - it's a little weird the way it gets processed. I got some approved with referrals initiated 5-10 days ago, while a bunch of older ones are still "pending validation". They say it takes 6-8 weeks, so I won't worry about it until December.
