If the issue doesn't replicate on other carriers, doesn't that kind of point the issue in T-Mobs direction?

Wait a sec.....that was a slick one John! But T-Mob phones lose network connectivity all the time because there isn't...much of...a network.

I had the connection issue on my 6s with carrier 25.0 during the beta program. I always did OTA updates. I reported it to Apple. When the public version came out I restored and updated via iTunes and got carrier 25.1, the problem has not reoccurred since.

Welp, I'll be on an iPhone 7+ after the issue is fixed. Doesn't affect me anymore. Got rid of my 6S+ a bit back.

So these problems didn't exist for T-Mobile customers even until the relase of iOS 10 Golden Master?

How does Apple always manage to sneak one last major bug before a major iOS release? I think it's happened 2-3 years in a row now?

#1 - Sounds like it's exclusive to the 6, 6+, and SE and doesn't occur on the 6S or 6S+.
#2 - Sounds like it doesn't occur for everyone, even if they have those devices.

Interesting. I updated my 6 Plus to iOS 10 last night, and switched carriers from AT&T to T-Mobile this morning. Haven't experienced loss in connectivity yet, and it appears it's running on the 25.1 carrier setting.

So it's safe for 6s+?

As much as I want to try the new iOS 10, I ain't touching it for at least two weeks for initial bugs to get squashed.

I have an iPhone 6S+ on t-mobile and have no problems at all .... but don't know how much that generalizes, but t-mobile mentions only 6, 6+ and SE, so I would assume 6S and 6S+ should be fine.

Wow.

This is why there is a shortage of phones for preorders and walk-ins this year.

Ios 10 had to ship on iPhone 7, and Apple has been a little late certifying it fully. So....production started last half of August. (ABSOLUTELY my own opinion)

Thank goodness my iPhone 7 is arriving tomorrow!

Note to self. Stay out of tunnels for the next 24 hours.

I normally wait 6 months to upgrade - gives them time to workout the kinks. This time, I was really excited about the "Messages" and "CarPlay" updates, so I updated day one. What a mistake. My phone, wifey's and the iPad are all on the fritz. Dropping calls, freezing up and crashing constantly.

CarPlay is worse than it was before... which is really an achievement. I didn't think that could be done.

As an iOS 10 Public Beta Tester for a few months, I haven't had a problem with t-mobile until I recently accepted an update. My phone had to be restarted no fewer than 5 times while driving 6 hours.

I have a 6, and have been running all the ios 10 betas with no issue. The only issue ive had is SOMETIMES, when switching between wifi and cellular during a call, it drops. Not sure if thats a ios 10 issue, or a t mobile issue, or a hardware issue. I have a 7 plus coming tomorrow, so we will see if that helps.

Six months sounds far too long. I've always updated iOS on day one and never had a problem. At this point, any issues like loss of connectivity or bricking are discovered within the first few hours, which is how long I wait.
