Interesting... I upgraded my 6S, 6S+, 2 SEs and a 5S to iOS10 with no issues whatsoever on T-Mo. Hope something like this does not flare up for me. Oddly enough, only two of my phones indicated a carrier update which I installed along with the OS.

I've had trouble with Visual Voicemail ever since I started testing the Betas T-Mobile and that has never been fixed. Sure, I eventually get my phone messages, but 2 days later is NOT acceptable. If I call in for messages, I get them, but IOS sure doesn't tell me in a timely fashion. A recent carrier update did nothing for the problem. Calling T-Mobile did nothing. They had me reset the iPhone 5s. That did reset the connection, but it didn't stop the delays in getting the messages. :(

T-Mobile CEO John Legere says T-Mobile customers who own an iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, or iPhone SE should not install Apple's iOS 10 update, released on Tuesday. According to Legere, iOS 10 is causing those three iPhone models to lose connection to the T-Mobile network.

Legere's comments come following customer complaints that started circulating following T-Mobile's latest carrier update, 25.1. It was initially believed the problem was the carrier update on T-Mobile's end, but Legere says that's not the case.

Apple is working to resolve the problem, but in the meantime, customers should avoid the update. T-Mobile has offered a fix for those who have already updated to iOS 10 and are experiencing connectivity issues - restart. According to the company, the only way to resume connectivity is to restart the iPhone each time that it loses connection.

Apple is expected to have a fix ready in the next 24 to 48 hours.

It's been really horrible on my T-Mobile 6+. Lesson learned - I won't update so early in the future. Otherwise, I love TMO - not missing ATT one single bit...

Sounds like T-Mobile made an update and want Apple to fix their mistake? I mean, this had to of come out long ago, it's not like iOS 10 hasn't been available for dev/beta for several months now. lol.

Something like this happened to we ATT users and an iOS update a couple years back. I forgot which one. The only fix was a rollback until the fix came out

It would be nice if MR could clarify whether that is a problem related to T-Mobile in North America or worldwide. I'm in a completely different part of the world, I'm on T-Mobile with my 6+ and iOS10 and have not encountered any problems whatsoever (*knocks on wood*).

waiting for the mr guy that says is just more people using iPhones so more problems, and that Q&A is a non issue w this software release.

Wow Apple. Do you people really not test your giant OS updates on real-world phones with the different carriers before release...?

It feels like 90% of these glitches & bugs would have been caught with even the most basic of software reliability testing...

Looks as though t-mobile's update wasn't compatible with iOS 10. And they try to make it the opposite! Lol

Maybe they asked Apple to change something in the carrier settings and Apple ****ed up. Could also be that T-mobile has nothing to do with it, the carrier updates also include Apple stuff.

I was just contemplating to update my work SE on T-Mobile last night. Decided to do my ipad air 2 instead to check it out. Well, glad i did!

I have a 6s whew.

But iOS 10 does make the iPhone 6s slower. It used to be able to process more with the ram that it has, now it can't.

I couldn't receive calls with iOS 10 (last dev beta) while LTE was turned on (6 Plus). Once I turned off LTE, the problem went away. I submitted the bug with the feedback app, and then waited for the next build, which turned out to be the 10.0.1 GM build. That image fixed that problem, but it seems that there are other LTE-related issues that need to be addressed.

Throughout the issue for me, my carrier settings version was always 25.0, and never changed. So, it seems that my issue was definitely on Apple's end as well.

So these problems didn't exist for T-Mobile customers even until the relase of iOS 10 Golden Master?

How does Apple always manage to sneak one last major bug before a major iOS release? I think it's happened 2-3 years in a row now?
Correct the issue didnt occur when people upgraded to iOS 10 its when people installed the updated t-mobile carrier settings that appeared after the iOS 10 update. So sounds like T-mobile's carrier update doesn't mesh well with iOS 10 and is blaming apple for that, as Apple has not made any such statement that its them and not t-mobile.

I never had any issues with my iPhone 6 during Beta. The GM worked fine until yesterday, then I had the first signal losses. So maybe it was the sheer number of people running iOS 10. Seems, some code is putting too much stress on the network? iPhone 6 is working fine today, but a carrier update is highly appreciated.
