So these problems didn't exist for T-Mobile customers even until the relase of iOS 10 Golden Master?

How does Apple always manage to sneak one last major bug before a major iOS release? I think it's happened 2-3 years in a row now?
iOS 10.0.1 was working fine for 5 days, it was after T -mobile updated carrier settings on Tuesday to 25.1 that my SE started saying no service.

This is just nuts. Why did Apple release something that kills the main function of the device. Beta testing anybody?

Carrier updates come out on the official release. Not beta for those.

Don't you feel like a donkey now.

Looks like I am experiencing problems now. My iPhone 6 Plus shows that I am connected to 4G with one bar available. But when attempting to use services that connect to the Internet in the absence of Wi-Fi, my phone will say that it is unable to activate the cellular network.

So I'm to assume everyone working a T-Mobile didn't have the beta's of iOS 10 on their phones prior to this, and experience these problems before all their customers downloaded? I thunked the thought CEO John Legere should shake up his R&D team, 'cause someone on his team should've experienced this glitch on the beta's beforehand.

Just sayin'.

iPhone 6 and no issues whatsoever. Everything working a charm. Battery life is great, and I've been using iMessage quite a lot.

If this is still the "quality" of pre-testing Apple have now, I will stay well away from Sierra for some while!
Hey Apple! I know you release each new Beta out to the General Public to try & get as wide a possible testbed, but do you realise many of these "testers" are just kids who "have to have" the latest OS, but don't really "test" it, thus few negative responses?
Wow, that's a lot of assumptions packed into a few short lines of text.

I just followed the link to read about Legere's 'fix', and for some reason the clown has blocked me on twitter. But I've never tweeted to or about this man before in my life. No idea what that is about.

Anyway since he's blocked me I might was well point out that his profile pic looks like he's a man going through a very intense and embarrassing mid-life crisis, so my condolences to him.

I'm picking up a new iPhone 7 tomorrow at a cost of $1,165 CDN - I know the Cult of Apple doesn't thing it's anything more than whining or an inconvenience BUT I expect that sucker to be flawless from the first power up - got it?
Do you have T-Mobile? I hope not. lol

I had no issue with the betas or GM. Until I got the carrier update last night. All day today it's been poo.

Odd that this wasn't discovered during the period of time Beta or the GM was released.

The carrier update didn't come with the beta or GM. It's the carrier band update that's doing it. It isn't iOS.

T-Mobile pushes carrier updates, not Apple. This isn't their fault.

Huh, that explains it. Been having issues with my iPhone 6's connection on iOS 10 all day.

Wait, why would anyone download an OS released two years AFTER their phone was released? iPhone 6 was designed for iOS 8... maybe you could install 9, but to try and install 10 seems kind of silly.
Huh? When I get around to installing iOS 10 this will be the fifth version of iOS my phone has run. It now has far more functionality that the one it came with. I think it's great.

T-Mobile CEO John Legere says T-Mobile customers who own an iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, or iPhone SE should not install Apple's iOS 10 update, released on Tuesday. According to Legere, iOS 10 is causing those three iPhone models to lose connection to the T-Mobile network.

Legere's comments come following customer complaints that started circulating following T-Mobile's latest carrier update, 25.1. It was initially believed the problem was the carrier update on T-Mobile's end, but Legere says that's not the case.

Apple is working to resolve the problem, but in the meantime, customers should avoid the update. T-Mobile has offered a fix for those who have already updated to iOS 10 and are experiencing connectivity issues - restart. According to the company, the only way to resume connectivity is to restart the iPhone each time that it loses connection.

Apple is expected to have a fix ready in the next 24 to 48 hours.
