I am running on a T-Mobile MNVO (US Mobile) which uses T-Mobiles 25.1 carrier update on my iPhone SE and have had no problems with cellular networking so far.

I've been running the public beta since they were available and have not had any problem.

I'm not downloading anything until Apple has sorted this mess out.

The ****ing thing has been in beta since June - what a **** job those guys did.

I'm at the office right now and 25.0 really wreaked havoc for me as I have horrible building penetration w/ my 6.

I just upgraded to 25.1 and am seeing a noticeable improvement.

Pretty moot for me anyway as my 7 is coming tomorrow w/ that miraculous extra LTE band which should hopefully solve my dead zone problems. :)

Yeah this is pretty much a given with any iOS update nowadays unfortunately. Always best to wait at least a week after release, so Apple can fix the consistent botched releases.

Always best to wait at least a week after release

First the Cult of Apple asks "who in their right mind updates their iOS immediately upon release, you should always wait at least a couple of hours."

Then there were those that said "NOPE ... no way ... as least a day or two before updating."

Now this "at least a week"

Who's next with their suggested wait . it . out . time . period?

It's probably already been said but my guess is this affects those using T-Mobile on the 700Mhz and/or 1700Mhz bands whereas those on 1900/2100 are fine. T-Mobile is no different than any other carrier when it comes to screw-ups so bashing them is low-hanging fruit.

Updated two iPads (one Wi-Fi, the other AT&T) and two iPhones (AT&T) to iOS 10, no issues.

T-Mobile CEO John Legere says T-Mobile customers who own an iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, or iPhone SE should not install Apple's iOS 10 update, released on Tuesday. According to Legere, iOS 10 is causing those three iPhone models to lose connection to the T-Mobile network.

Legere's comments come following customer complaints that started circulating following T-Mobile's latest carrier update, 25.1. It was initially believed the problem was the carrier update on T-Mobile's end, but Legere says that's not the case.

Apple is working to resolve the problem, but in the meantime, customers should avoid the update. T-Mobile has offered a fix for those who have already updated to iOS 10 and are experiencing connectivity issues - restart. According to the company, the only way to resume connectivity is to restart the iPhone each time that it loses connection.

Apple is expected to have a fix ready in the next 24 to 48 hours.

You'd think this would be caught in the 10th developer preview

Good thing they told users two days after the official release!

Seriously, do none of this come up in the GM testing at Apple or T-Mobile?

Testing isn't easy. Sometimes you need a million production users dispersed throughout the country for a bug to surface.

This happened on my iPhone 6. Right after installing iOS 10 a notification popped up about new carrier settings. I called T-Mobile yesterday about this but they hadn't yet heard of others with the same issue. Hope Apple can fix quickly.

Sounds like tmo needs to get its act together.
This is not a T-Mobile issue. This is an Apple issue. Their software is what handles connecting to the wireless networks, not T-Mobile. Since T-Mobile's network has not changed in 24 hours...its clear that Apple has broken something in iOS.

If Carrier profile update pops up, refuse it. Leave it so until a new update comes along.

Is anyone in this fourm having this issue?
I'm having this issue. It happens when you go out of the service area then try to reconnect. I live in NYC, so, when I go on the subway, for instance, I have to restart to get service back. For all of you saying you're not having a problem, try going to a dead spot and see what happens.

I wasn't offered the option. The carrier setting updated when I installed 10.
