If it's real, then it's stolen property.

Either it's a mock-up or he's going to jail.

Clearly it's a mock-up. The Apple logo is stuck on for a start (and in the wrong place), the flash is just a yellow bit of plastic/card. I would hope Apple's quality standards are a little higher than that.

Forget WWDC, ladies and gentlemen! Innovation is making bezels smaller.

haha yeah i guess so...

If its a real unite, at this stage it must have the Apple logo printed or something.

And if all of us (the major part) hate this antenta bands (if they are antena bands) so no way a Apple designer like it.

I like what I've seen of iOS 8 and I don't really care about Beats (their headphones are not worse than Apple's and I also highly doubt that we'll see a Beats logo on Apple products) but what can people who like more sensibly sized phones do when Apple drops the 4" iPhone and replace it with bigger models?
Switch to smaller devices running the nightmare inducing mess that is Android on crappy hardware?

You'll all buy it anyway.

I'm buying it regardless of what it looks like, it's the iPhone 6 for goodness sake!

We know Apple produce the highest quality phones so it will look better in person.

Hopefully the PPI matches other top tier phones. Please no one quote me saying you can't tell a difference.

I don't have another phone to compare it to, but everything on my iPhone looks totally unpixellated, so I don't see how a higher PPI could help. There are other ways to improve the screen, of course...

Wow what a poser, he earns my admiration forever for being the biggest retarded look at me celebrity wannabe I've ever seen... :D

Celebrity wannabe? People can be genuine celebrities without being celebrities in the country you happen to come from. There are a lot more people in Asia than in North America and Europe, you know. He certainly looks like a **** like most genuine celebrities.

I like how many of you make fun of him for posing with a leaked iphone 6, ridiculing his local celebrity status and his appearance. I didn't see this happening when white people do reviews with the empty casings and (worse), the supposed cases of the iphone 6. Grow up.

Yep, cos there's only celebrities if Americans have heard of them, right?

Nope. Ugly as the iPhone 4 and 5. MacRumors forum members haven't liked the physical appearance of an iPhone since the original iPhone.

That's not true, I've liked both plastic designs more than the original model. The 5C is my favourite, and the 3G was lovely too.

For those of you who hate those bands. :)

You know, with the breaksI was actually thinking I didn't like it at all, not just the bands but the sheer area of flat, unadorned aluminum, looked a big ugly. But in that picture I like it. Damn those breaks are awful. That said, we said the same about the 4 and that turned out OK :)

Well, I think by now it's a safe assumption that this is really going to be the approach. It's too big. Plain and simple. I don't know how I would ever operate that thing with one hand when the iPhone 5 is already a stretch to reach the corners. Won't be buying this.

Which is very unfortunate because there don't seem to be many other alternatives out there. I really hope Apple keeps around some version of the 5 for people who can't or don't want to use a phone like a tablet.

The side bezels on the 6 appear do appear to be narrower than those on the 5/5s if you look at the picture. Your mock up pic looks nice but would be extremely difficult to pull off from an engineering point of view at the moment, I suspect.

WHen i had an HTC Inspire is had really thin bezels. Trust me it was a pain. You couldnt hold the phone and scroll because It was constantly picking up my touch from holding the sides of the phone.

When I wanted to scroll down.... it usually did pinch to zoom. seriously annoying. Looks good, but not functional.

I think the ultimate iPhone design will just be a totally seamless solid piece of unbreakable glass/sapphire.

Everything will be done wirelessly and the screen will cover the entire surface, on both sides, with no bezel at all.

Of course once they get to that point, where do they go from there? I imagine they will drag things out for as long as possible with tiny incremental updates so they can still make a profit every year. Perhaps they will need to change to a model where software updates are chargeable.

They could quite easily turn off touch detection on the edges but still have the screen go right to the edge.

I am guessing they will keep a 4" around but not with the latest tech.

Let me know if you find out. I also want 4" or smaller. Some hybrid formfactor between an iPhone 4 and a classic Blackberry would be ideal for my everyday stuff - iPhone with Blackberry mail, something like that.

I'm debating swapping my 5 for a 5s while they're still available and hope something else will come up during the lifespan of that one. And I'm also not interested in yet another OS update after having just getting used to 7. Why can't they fix first existing features instead of adding more stuff to new OS versions?

Don't you think that, from the front, these new, supposed mock-ups, or the real thing look stupidly long?

The GIANT home button on the bottom and the equally GIANT for no reason area above the screen make it look a joke against rival mobiles with the same screen size.

Honestly, do we really expect Apple to stick such epic sizes top and bottom bezels to make their new phone even bigger physically than a competing phone with the same screen?

It's going to get closer to this each year now!

That would be fine. I have no use for latest tech really. Does it make calls, get emails (all the time and reliably) and connect to the interweb? Then I'm fine. I don't need the latest processor for playing 3D Candycrush or whatever.

Either those antenna bands will disappear in the final molding process or they will have to be almost invisible because since the material is looking the same as the metal...Apple could never allow white ribbons around each side of the phone like that, its completely ugly and it breaks up the form. hideous.
