Tangerine Macbook project thread

The tension between thrill and horror has me coming back again and again to see your photos.

You my friend, have more than just vision... I appreciate you acting on this project. In my mind, I'm my golf handicap is much lower than it is, but I'm not intiated enough to do anything about it.

i feel like an idiot cause i cant even get my top off my Macbook and I'm 16, but i can get in an eMac without killing myself u need much Patience, but why wasnt orange ibook guys so huge only 2 pages i belive and this has 7
 
To the OP if u are only 16 how do u work as an apple repair tech?

BTW I like the orange on white it looks like a dream sickle :p

I have some experience on forums and projects, I believe this thread has over 10,000 views now...

I talk to the people at my local Apple store, they said they would take me in a second, but they can't because you have to be 18... I work at a third party place, I do repairs, not sales so it works for me.

is it a big store like what store is it. and i think u can be 16 and up for greeter

im pretty sure if u had ur cisco a++ certificate they would take u in over a 18yearold without one only if they could i guess?
I didnt take cisco seriously and blew my chances at it, id call myself an idiot for that i had one 50 and 70 to fix but then school was almost done, and had to do like 6 tests in 3 days and its hard to do 2 in one day espically if your on ibm p3 650mhz with pc linux os on a crappy server uhg we get the crap computers in computer hardware class. thats life.
 
Im glad I've been able to go on this fantastic ride. I would like to get my Macbook painted but I'm probably gonna send it in to colorware next summer after I get out of for the summer. I just know its gonna be difficult parting with it even for only a few weeks.
