Target Information

I grabbed a 16GB White Wifi from Target Memorial (Houston, TX) as a gift and there were 2 still available when I left (now, as of 2:00PM CST, shows Out of Stock)!

While I was standing there another guy walked up and asked the electronics CSR if they had any iPad2s. He looked excited and grabbed 2 for himself and as a gift as well (there were a total of 5 when I first got there.) He said that he's been looking for a week.

I asked him, "How'd you find out that they were in stock?"

Guy: "I found this program that automatically emails me when they're in stock."

Me: "From MacRumors huh?"

Guy: "Yep. :)"

Me: "Me too. :)"
 
I bought the Verizon Ipad 2 last week thinking that reception would be no problem, I brought it home and saw that the Verizon reception in my building is god awful, am I able to return an open Ipad 2 and exchange it for an AT&T Ipad2

Target Stores Refund Policy

A receipt dated within 90 days is required for all returns and exchanges.

All returns and exchanges must be new, unused, and contain all original packaging and accessories. A form of personal identification may be required. Some items cannot be returned if opened and may only be exchangeable, including music, movies, video games, software and collectibles. Other restrictions may apply.

Restocking Fees: Some items are subject to a 15% restocking fee, including camcorders, digital cameras, portable DVD players and portable electronics.

Also, good luck in finding another iPad soon, however you have 90 days so more will be in stock by then I believe.

With 15% restocking fee, you might just want to sell it on your own.
 
My bad target experience....not to gripe too much

Zip 48843 showed a white 64gb wifi in canton, went there they had 5 originally, but clerks double scanned so inventory wrong.

So, I try 48331 by my work, Livona shows limited avail for black 32gb wifi, I go there and they state zero stock plus they have a waiting list of 10 people.

Ok I vented
 
Well I used your locator and it was spot on. I was able to get a Black 32G Wifi at the Glendale, California Target. They still had White ones available when I left.

That sucks. :( The double scan is like "d'oh!"

And yeah... the online stock can be 1 hour behind.

In several other instances I've used the DPCI tracker (to find other items before) and although it stated "Limited Availability" they found absolutely nothing at the store.
 
Inventory tracker success for me. Finally.

Target in Culver City South had a bunch and I got the last 64 black AT&T.

There rare a bunch of whites left in different sizes it looked like. Maybe 6-8.

Usually it goes to "limited availability" almost immediately after the last one is sold out, and then changes to "sold out" 45 minutes later.
 
Ipad 2 WiFi-Only 32GB at Columbia Heights, Washington, DC

My cousin just called me from the Columbia Heights, NW, Target in Washington, DC.
She said they had ten (10) 32GB WiFi-Only iPad2 in the case. Black & White. No other models.

i did mention to her how people are buying two or even more (this info i got from this thread) she was pretty firm that other targets are breaking the policy then...

The Target where I purchased mine only allowed me to buy 1. They told me to come back tomorrow.

Finally got the Black AT&T 64GB iPad 2 at the Target in Orchard Park, NY. I've been trying to find one since the beginning of this thread with no luck until now.

Got to the store, and the sales guy was surprised that I knew that they just received some. He went to the back to look to see if they were unloaded off the truck yet and came back with an iPad 1. I told him it was the old model, and he went back again and returned with the correct one.

Then, I asked him if I could buy a second one, since one of my colleagues wanted one too, and he went back to get another one for me. After I already paid for both, a manager walked over and told him that he was supposed to limit purchases to one per customer. I guess I lucked out.

I was only able to use my Target credit card to get 5% off one of them, because Target, like most retail stores, issue cards with pretty low credit limits. I even inquired about making a cash payment on the card to free up the credit limit, but I was told that even cash payments take 24-48 hours to go through. Oh well.
 
I just got lucky today.
I wouldn't necessarily trust the Target inventory system. This morning at 9:00am it said there was limited availability of 32GB white at the Manassas-West store in Northern Virginia, and every other option at every other store was sold out. I went there at 9:20am and it was gone. However, just for kicks, I went into the Fair Lakes store at 11:30am and they had 3 iPads on the shelf: 16GB black, 64GB 3G VZW and a white 32GB which I bought. So don't rely totally on that inventory search (unless they update it throughout the day).
 
Thanks for the thread. I got mine today!

I checked this morning and there was nothing in the area. I checked this afternoon (about 1:30 PM) and they had iPad2s listed at the Lombard, IL and Naperville, IL Targets. I rushed over to Lombard and asked the clerk if they had and iPad2s. He laughed at me and said they only got in 2 shipments including the release date.

I asked him to check in the back and he laughed, but called back to the receiving and found out they did have them. A few minuted later, they brought them out (total of 5 black 64GB wi-fi). I happily bought mine and left.

So, if they do pop up on the Target list as available even in the middle of the day (normally they come in over night). It is worth a visit and be polite and make sure they call back to receiving, because they will assume they don't have them.

Sorry I'm new here but I picked one up at the target on 99 ave and lower buckeye. They had 5 16 black wfi. The store in Peoria shows 32 white white as available this morning.

I just go back from the Kissimmee West Super Target with a White 64GB wifi iPad 2, thanks to the help of the iPad stock checker at http://ryon.co/ipad2. I'm in Orlando on vacation from the UK for 2 weeks and have been checking stock levels every day. I've also popped into the Orlando SW store which is right opposite where I'm staying without success.

Today I went in there and they had 2 16GB White wifi iPads. I went back to our apartment and checked the stock levels and found the 64GB wifi in stock at Kissimmee West so got in the car, drove over and bought one. They had 3 64GB white wifis in stock after I bought mine and a couple of Verizon ones too.

I had wanted a black one but settled for white based on the cost saving over buying one in the UK. I also picked up a blue smart cover and an HDMI adapter too. Unfortunately I can't use my new toy until I get home since I don't have a computer with me to activate it with. I may take it with me to one of the local Apple stores to see if they can help me out.
 
Reserved ipad2 ATT 64GB 3G on 3/15 at BB at the HIP and another one at Belmont & Kimball just to see which one would come in first. Got the call today at 2:00 pm from the one at the HIP.
Got out of work at 4:30 and picked it up at 5:00.:D

I guess I am more on the SE side of the valley - looking more in the Tempe, Scottsdale, Mesa, Chandler area.

I did notice just now when I looked over on the west part of PHX that only Peoria shows any availability for 32 GB Black as of this moment.
 
If anyone in CA Bay Area interested in a white 16gb wifi let me know. I was able to get a extra. Got lucky.

Hi I'm in northeastpa long story short yesterday scored my ipad2at target. Today best buy calls and says my iPad came in so if anybody's in northeastern. Pa and looking for 16gblk 3G AT&T I got one for you email is jdcell100@aol.com only have 48 hours to pick it up so let me know ASAP thanks
