I posted earlier about striking out on Tuesday. Millenia in Orlando showed "Available" for two models (one for me, one for my mom) and by the time I got there about 25 minutes later, they were all gone. Well yesterday (Wednesday) I saw it again. 16gb white wifi and 32gb black AT&T. I called the store just to see if they were already gone and he said they still had them. I wasn't able to leave quite yet so I called my mom and asked her to go down there (she's closer anyways) and she was able to get one of each! They still had three 32gb black AT&T models when we left.
I've got to assume people knew Tuesday was a big release day so they were waiting for it...a Wednesday shipment threw everyone off. Point is, this works so keep trying!

did not work for me.
Wilmington, DE Target off 202. Shows 64G Wifi AVAILABLE all morning.
Went, talked to manager, asked for him to go to the back to double check. Showed him on scanner. Inventory was wrong.
Had none.
This issue surprised both him and I since the Target tracker for inventory is almost always spot on.
Was this online or the in-store inventory machine? Online is off by around an hour.
Northern NJ Target stores just keep getting blanketed with iPad 2's every single day. All Wi-Fi and AT&T models. Use zip code 07470 (Wayne NJ) for a pretty good set of stores. If you're in NYC or south jersey, it's probably worth a trip. Stock builds up around 11am and dies out by 6pm.
I've already bought and sold 6 different units. I have a guy who buys them for cash from me at a $150 markup and sends them directly to his guys in Hong Kong for even more. Just yesterday I finally found the 16GB AT&T model I've been searching for (for myself), so I'm officially out of the game.

I finally picked up a 32GB black wi-fi iPad 2 at the Newport, KY Target. There were three left after I bought mine, all of the same model and no others. I am so happy to finally stop searching! It seems like stores are starting to be saturated with iPads now though, which is good.

After 2 weeks of waiting, a local Target showed up as "Limited Availability" for the 32GB Black wifi. I was already at work, so I wasn't about to drive 30 minutes back home to get it.
Called my wife and asked her if she wanted to pick it up after dropping the kids off at pre-school. This was a calculated risk on my part since Target opens at 8AM and the kids get dropped off after 9AM.
Anyways, wife gets there and buys it.
I checked the stock later in the day and it now shows as "Available". So either they got some more in, or they had more than one and the original listing was inaccurate.
BTW, the store was in Springfield, PA (delaware county). This was the Springfield West Target.

Good to read that there are tons of iPad 2 units showing up at Target stores around your area.
Now, if only Apple will (please) quickly send their iPad 2 shipments to the Target stores in the DFW area..... Yeah, why let anyone else buy one to actually USE when you can resell them for a profit? I hope apple floods the market and you and those of your ilk get stuck with ten a piece. KARMA.
When I sell on eBay, I sell to USA only. Too bad eBay has imposed a 1-per-week limit for sellers who would like to list iPads.
As I've said before, we can't all afford to spend $500-$800 on luxury items. Spending my time and effort to flip these things is just a great way of exercising my inner capitalist to finance my gadgets.

And the Marietta East store was blessed again today. Black AT&T 64GB, White AT&T 32GB, and some White VZW 32GB. Might have had some Black Wifi 32GB, but looks like they sold those through.

I'm in a similar situation, waiting for stock to appear at DFW area Target stores.
A quick heads-up for fellow members in the DFW region. The inventory tracker is showing that Frisco Target has got the 16GB white WiFi-only iPad 2 available. Hope that whoever gets there manage to buy one.
Unfortunately, that store is quite a distance from me & I couldn't make the drive to & from the store in the middle of the day. It definitely s**ks, but oh well, I'll wait patiently till I manage to snag one.

I just bought the exact one I wanted and the only one ive seen available at all in my area. Am damn happy.
After many mornings and hours outside the apple store just got it in target.
And I bought the one i wanted and not more to sell and rip people off from!!!

First, a thank you to all those involved in the script.
Second, I just got mine from the Frisco (NOT Frisco North) store. They received 5 16 white wifi. They were down to 3 when I got there. I left with 1. That left 2 in the case about 10 minutes ago! They were in the case, a few aisles to the left of the counter so look there first. Very nice lady in the department said they were running odds on how long they last.
These seem to be the first 16 wifi I've seen come into the DFW area in a while.

How I wish I can sneak out & make the trip to the Frisco Target store now. Unfortunately, when I'm able to drive over around 5pm or so, I doubt they will have any left.
Thanks to everyone who has spent time making inventory scripts and whatnot. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw my local target had units "avaliable" after seeing "out of stock" for about a week. My store was also the only store in the area (of around 10 targets) to receive a shipment.

It's been really crazy in my market (Raleigh-Durham, NC). We have 2 Apple stores, probably 5 BB, 10 or so walmarts AND targets...and they've literally had NOTHING for the last 2 weeks.

i was at target , upstate NY .. and wanted to buy two ipads (for me and wife) i was told by store manager that now they are only selling one per customer ? never heard of that before ... she said its the new policy and they are told by the cooperate .. i didn't buy any as they didn't had for i wanted .. but i wanted to know how true in this .. just in case they do get two of the ones i want ...?
