Target Pre-Orders

Anyone else pre-order the watch from Target?

Ordered mine on 9/9. Series 2 42mm SG aluminum case w/ black sport band.

Shows backordered but also says arriving by 9/16 (I paid $15 extra for launch day delivery).

Nothing charged to my debit card yet.

I've read of Best Buy and Target promising launch day delivery in the past but not making it. Was hoping to see who else ordered from Target and what their account shows.

Here in the netherlands the stores are getting a backorder to (end of oktrober for first batch!!!)
They said that apple gave a wrong delivery date, so basicly something is wrong with the watch.
 
I pre-ordered the Space Gray 42mm Series 2 Aluminum with black woven nylon band. Ordered at 8:45am ET on the 9th and it says arriving by Mon, Sep 19 - Thu, Sep 22.

They charged you extra for launch day delivery?
Man, Target is the worst. They have a terrible reputation for screwing over launch day preorders, and they still have the balls to charge you extra?
I hope you get your watch on time...but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Yeah, but I saved $20 by using my Target RedCard so I figured it's a wash.

You can be sure, if it's not here on Friday, I'm going to throw a fit about that $15. :)

Same here. I paid for express shipping. Hoping to see some movement by tomorrow night. Otherwise that's $15 wasted!!

I just checked on Target's website... you can no longer pre-order the series 2...
My guess is that some apple watch inventory is being delayed... doesn't mean no watch is going the see the USA shores on the 16th...

I'm seeing only the SS with white band as available to order right now.
 
woke up this morning to a red message saying they couldn't retrieve my order info. Refreshed a few times and it was the same thing.

Now back to backordered, arriving on 9/16.

Went on apple last night ordered 2 AP, starred at the proposed delivery date (mid to late October)
I am ok with this... =)

I did. Seems like we should be seeing something real soon. :(

I assume this includes the Apple Watch...

All Electronics and entertainment items must be returned within 30 days for a refund or exchange.

Target debit and credit REDcard℠ card holders will receive an extra 30 days to return nearly all items purchased with their REDcard at Target and Target.com.

I am a casualty of the Best Buy Apple Watch Delay from the 16th to the 28th. So I canceled the order with them and ordered from Target. I called them this morning to discuss the situation.

Like many of you, my order says that it is backordered it is still arriving by Friday, September 16.
(I have no idea where Target outsources their call center, but they need to move it. It is very hard to understand any of them.)

The representative said that my order is in Transit by FedEx but they don't have the tracking number. It should be provided later today and arriving to me by tomorrow. How they can see it is in transit without a tracking number or a reference number, is beyond me. They said FedEx picked it up yesterday.

*fingers crossed* I don't have to go hunting for an Apple Watch at the Apple store tomorrow.

Thanks for the update, that gives me a little hope. Though it does seem very fishy a call center rep would know it's in transit without having a tracking number.
