If you have or sign up for FedEx delivery manager it should show your package. I just checked mine and nothing populated.....

Target Pre-Orders

Not sure how mine is going to work. I used a Target RedCard debit card. Unlike every other purchase I make, that shows up in my account instantly, anything I buy from Target usually takes 2-3 days.
Which did you order from target? I don't see any 38mm Series 2 available for pre-order today.
I got a 42mm SS Silver with the White Band. If I try to buy it today, with Express Shipping, I wouldn't get it until 9/19 according to their site.
I will probably call them again and try to get more information.

You need to give them several days to figure out what is going on before they will have any information.
The system says backordered, according to her, because it isn't available and in a pre-order status.
If it doesn't arrive by Friday, will we get our Express Shipping fee removed? She wouldn't say yes. It was a maybe. The order will have to be received first before they will consider that request and it will need to be done over the phone and not in a store.
Will they have a better idea of when these watches will be shipped out tomorrow, on release day? She wouldn't commit to a yes or no on that either. She continued to state they needed a few days to sort through things.
What do we know? These items have not even been received by the Target Distribution Centers. But she has no idea of knowing where those centers are or where your particular order would ship from.
In summary? Probably a good idea to only order from Apple directly, even if it will be delayed in arriving. Apple needs to quit allowing Third Parties, in North America, to handle pre-orders. When they fail at providing for the customers, it only tarnishes the Apple Brand.

If that's the case, then they are flat out false advertising shipping options and stealing money from customers, like myself, who paid the extra money for Friday delivery (as it has stated on their order status page for a week now).
My thoughts exactly. I think there will be SS versions to be had. Sport will be in more demand though.
I received the $50 eGift Card too. However, there was no explanation for this with the emails they sent. Also, the order online still reflects the same information. Back ordered and delivery by tomorrow.
Yup just got the email with the gift card as well. And yes, no explanation as to why I received it. Some information would be appreciated as to why, although I'm sure it's because they know they screwed us on our orders. Would really like to know a timeframe as to when we can expect it at this point too.
My order says cancelled? No gift card, I am on the phone with target and they said they aren't issuing gift cards?
but the good news is that my apple watch through Apple just went to preparing for shipment! Lesson learned, only order through Apple.com
Well double blow for me. No watch, from Target, it appears. My other watch, from Best Buy got delayed and canceled. Now my iPhone 7 Plus that I ordered at 2:30 AM Central time on 9/9 got delayed until October 7 from Best Buy.
Probably done shopping at both Target and Best Buy over these issues. They shouldn't selling Apple products as preorders. Only Apple should in North America.
