I am a casualty of the Best Buy Apple Watch Delay from the 16th to the 28th. So I canceled the order with them and ordered from Target. I called them this morning to discuss the situation.
Like many of you, my order says that it is backordered it is still arriving by Friday, September 16.
(I have no idea where Target outsources their call center, but they need to move it. It is very hard to understand any of them.)
The representative said that my order is in Transit by FedEx but they don't have the tracking number. It should be provided later today and arriving to me by tomorrow. How they can see it is in transit without a tracking number or a reference number, is beyond me. They said FedEx picked it up yesterday.
*fingers crossed* I don't have to go hunting for an Apple Watch at the Apple store tomorrow.
