This sucks. I can't believe there are so many problems with this new case. I ordered the slim case from Amazon and it will be arriving tomorrow. I'm guessing I'll need to return it, but hopefully not.

Targus must be losing a lot of business due to the all these postings. I can't believe they didn't do a better job of testing their new product.

Wish I had seen this thread before getting the case. Just came back from my local BB and sure enough the magnetic on/off doesn't work with the new iPad. I also had picked up the new Tucano Cornice case and the magnetic on/off works fine on that one. It's a shame as my wife prefers the Targus case. I'll have to contact them and see what they can do.
 
Just recieved my new replacement targus case out of the blue today thought it would take 6-8 weeks! Looks great going to test it out!

Awesome. Let us know if it works. I contacted Targus via email/online support and they were pretty good; they're sending me a replacement (also within 6-8 weeks) and they told me to keep mine and not send it back so that was nice of them. :)
 
I picked this case up at my local BB and really liked it until the front cover started warping after only couple of days of use. Ended up returning it and getting something else. Too bad because it's a nice case and I found one at the store with a working sleep/awake function.
 
Same with me. Best Buy, Grey, no worky. I just finished an online chat with them and a replacement should be on the way in 6-8 weeks. They said I can keep the old one.
 
Got my replacement today and now when I fold the front cover all the way back it locks and shuts off the iPad. I remember the problem when the iPad 2 came out with some cases
 
I got my replacement today and it works. Mine does not shut off the ipad when folded over.

i have two of them now, and still within the return policy of best buy. hmmm...

the cover works great now though, and i already liked the style and slimness of it.
 
Hmmm... I've had mine since launch day and mine works fine without an issue at all. I really like it so far... Not too big and heavy
 
Emailed cust service waiting to hear back. It's hard to find a good no weight case. Hope they can make good on this, had a dodo and it's just to hard to squeeze the iPad in and out, this was preferable by far.
 
Replacement Slim Cover Arrived!

All set. It took close to 2 weeks from first contacting Targus' awesome customer service to arriving here in MA. Sleep mode works great! THANKS Targus for the ease of replacement.
