maybe i should switch watch faces to see if this helps with battery life?
currently using meridian
wow that’s good i’m shockedApple are sending me out a replacement watch which will arrive after my Hoilday on the 22nd
Hopefully fixes my battery life issues
my battery goes down when it’s in standby and i’m not even using it,makes no sense50% / 4h 24 minutes usage / standby 23h50min. Raise to wake off, AOD on, noise off, all others on. For me it's getting better every day. Mostly California Watch face in use + Solar. 6.01.
I work from home. So I chuck mine on charge next to me whenever I feel the need
What apps/complications do you keep on? Any 3rd party complications? Heart Analyzer was chewing up my battery when I had it as a complications.damn well maybe i’ll just keep it then and hope it gets better but it came off charge at 5 am and it’s not even 11 am and it’s at 77 percent just used it for a few txt messages and that’s it also AOD is off.I would think that if it’s not really in use then why would the battery drain for no reason? my iphone when it just sits not in use the battery barley goes down do you know what i mean?
I don’t really have much running heart analyzer is about it and activity and no complications,I had cellular turned off the whole day cause it’s no sense to have it on if my phone is with me and my battery is at 57 percent usage 4 hours and standby is 11 hours 14 minutes.so maybe the cellular was mowing down the batteryWhat apps/complications do you keep on? Same as to the 99% charge unless I leave it charging overnight.I took a shower at 3PM EDT and put my watch on the charger. It charged to 99% and hasn't budged from that ever since. Something is not right with the battery reporting.
Pull off charger and put back. It will hit 100%Same as to the 99% charge unless I leave it charging overnight.
yesterday i was around 60% this time of day. im currently at 83% so there is a somewhat improvement.
Did you change anything to make it get better or do you think it just started to calm down?
I did another factory reset and setup as new 2nd time and its going on 8pm and I'm at 62%. yesterday at this time I was at like 10% lol
Holly crap!
yep this time last night I was at 8-9% I’m still at 60% currently didn’t do anything different usage wise just the factory reset and setup as new.
That’s 23+ hours of battery life. That’s not that bad with an always-on display.I don’t really have much running heart analyzer is about it and activity and no complications,I had cellular turned off the whole day cause it’s no sense to have it on if my phone is with me and my battery is at 57 percent usage 4 hours and standby is 11 hours 14 minutes.so maybe the cellular was mowing down the battery
Maybe I'm wrong on this but unless an iPhone is out of range on bluetooth and you're off of wifi networks on the watch, cellular should never kick in even if it's still on/activated.I don’t really have much running heart analyzer is about it and activity and no complications,I had cellular turned off the whole day cause it’s no sense to have it on if my phone is with me and my battery is at 57 percent usage 4 hours and standby is 11 hours 14 minutes.so maybe the cellular was mowing down the battery
had cellular turned off the whole DayHaven't seen any major issues in battery on my series 5 44mm cellular so far. I'm jumping from a Series 0 so honestly anything is better battery than I was getting on that, surprisingly Series 0 still did usually get me through a full day though usually, although with very minimal actual use. If I use my series 5 heavily through the day, maps, music controls, weather, calls, texts, siri, etc it'll usually go below 50%. Some of that was kind of "new toy" overuse at times just fiddling with it because of how big of difference it was from my Series 0. I'm about a week into having my Series 5 now though and it and my use seem to be settling in. Through a pretty busy Friday now into Saturday at 3am it's at 54%. I have an easy 10-4 day Saturday so should easily last me through Saturday too.

My original AW5 kept dying with no notice. I’ve just put mine on charge at 12:45 pm after sleeping with it on all night (was 90% at bedtime). It was 30% when I put it on charge following a run of 1hr and 15minsI work from home too and I used to, but this thread (and others) has made me try to see how long I can get out of it lol.
I am beginning to get less obsessed now I feel it is normal to me and charge once a day around 8:05am, just after my 8-9am stand goal![]()

When is the 6.1 update being released? You would think Apple would rush it as many are impacted with battery life issues
Apple been no longer on Steve jobs supervision, with so many new faces onboard, apple have lost it curture & focus on product. watchos6.1 will eventually release... But "they" not in the hurry.
