It's because mobilesubstrate isn't updated yet

Just updated Mobile Substrate and installed TetherMe - it shows in settings but when I click on it, it says "TetherMe not loaded..." I'm guessing this is because it (TetherMe) still needs to be updated for the 5s/64 bit? If not, is it working for anyone else now that MS has been updated (that has a 64bit device/5s/etc).

Thanks

Yup probably not ready for 64 bit yet. I am getting the same thing.

New version (3.0-1) was just pushed to Cydia (least I was able to upgrade to it) will know in a bit (once I'm near my MacBook), if its working.

Works like a champ. Don't use tethering all that often anyhow (once, maybe twice a month to check emails) so it was a bit pointless to pay Verizon the 30.00 (23 with my discount) to use it as rarely as I did.. (before anyone starts with the morality issues of it - I have, and had no issue paying for it, but it'll be nice to have a little more money in my pocket, if even for a month or two).

So it works on the iPhone 5S?

That's for AdBlocker, not TetherMe. Likely AdBlock hasn't been updated yet to support 64 bit, and that's why you're getting the error.

Actually I've been getting it for a lot of tweaks
Adblocker
Typestatus
Flipcontrolcenter

But yeah maybe I'll just wait to see when they're updated

Not, it's not working on 64-bit devices yet, mobile substrate need to be updated it to work with 64-bit devices, only a few tweaks work with ios 7 ATM.

TetherMe has been updated (3.0-2) to work with iOS 7 and iPhone 5s! Cydia substrate has replaced Mobile Substrate and supports ARM64. My question though is it safe to use TetherMe? If I use it for basic web browsing, will I get caught?

If so, if there any options to tether on iPhone 5s without getting caught?

I've researched all over the net finding articles since iOS 3 with many different stories! It's hard to tell.

I think only on carriers with limited data plans, I'm over my tethering plan which just stops tethering no overages and tether me is working fine for me. I don't limit myself, I watch netflix etc, but I do have an unlimited data plan. It says in the description that tetherme does what it can to make it look as regular data.

Depends on which carrier you use.

Which one do you use?

Verizon doesn't care about tethering.

I have unlimited data and with TetherMe it's a great setup.

How much Verizon data have you used?

I went from barely using any data on my Verizon phone and tethering from my AT&T unlimited data iPad. To tethering 40GBs this past month on my Verizon unlimited data plan. I'm worried Verizon will kick me off unlimited data.
