They can't kick you off. Is this an LTE phone? I so they can't throttle you. On a 3G phone they can, but it would take a lot for them to do that. I average 10gigs a month on 3G. Never been throttled.
I have been out of my contract last summer.

How does this work with Tmobile and their 2.5GB of free tethering? When I get to 2.6+ will I be able to keep going without adding anything to the bill?
Latest version I see (and am using) is 3.0-3, and it works fine. Don't see 3.0-4 anywhere however. (Verizon iPhone 5s btw).

Most people are using TetherMe and MyWi with unlimited data plans that do not offer tethering.
Oops, I meant 3.0-3. Sorry.
And what I mean is when I uninstalled TetherMe, I lose data connectivity to VZW. I emailed the developer. Who knows what the deal is.
But, when I do turn it on, I can't connect. When I use MyWi, works perfectly.
I dunno.
The people who have the tethering enabled its not much which is being offered thats is why alot of members are wanting to use this app.
I'd like to know of other people experiences too. I had received a txt msg 2 yrs ago when I used tether me, but have since stopped. Now I'm using it again. Anyone get any recents issues with AT&T?
Well I have a iPhone 5s through T-Mobile also and I paid for the tether me on Cydia for 4.99 as of this time it doesn't seem to work at all this is the version 3.0-3 the tether does not hide my tether data and I do have tether on my plan but when this runs out I get the T-Mobile Alert to buy more tethering data I hope a update can fix this or if anyone knows why am having this problem and if it's working with your T-Mobile 5S can you please let me know thanks in advance!
I used TetherMe with my iPhone 5s (mine is a Verizon one, but doubt it makes any difference) with T-Mobile, using both the 30.00 Wal-Mart plan (that gives you 5GB data), as well as the 70.00 Simple Choice plan - in both instances I was able to tether with no issue (my speeds did slow down on the 30.00 plan, once I hit the 5G; but I was able to tether as much as 12 GB with the Simple Choice Plan, and can still tether now with no message/warning).
Tethered to my MacBook, and never got any messages, etc.
I am on ATT and have been using tetherme and have not had any notices but at the same time i dont use extraordinary amounts of data (avg 5gb/mo).
Good to know btw does it work with the built in hotspot feature/toggle? I won't be using tons of data either I mean I'm grandfathered on AT&T's unlimited data plan yet I average under 1GB a month. Lol
What ever device I'll try to tether to Will not work my MacBook my Windows laptop my PlayStation three are my iPad ???? With tether me on T-Mobile with a 5s it's pretty useless but I am running 7.0.3 software but I was told that should not make a difference anyone please help ?
because from personal experience with tethering on tmobile, the user agent is one of the methods they use to track whether you're tethering or not
So this user agent could be affecting my tether me I hear a lot of people saying that works with other carriers but I'm not sure why it's not working with my carrier anyone else have any input on T-Mobile tether me and this user Agent or does anyone have this working on t-Mobile service with the iPhone 5s?
