Almost a week with my rose gold 6s Plus and not one person has questioned why I got it as a 41 yr old guy. My wife is a little jealous since I gave her my space gray 6 Plus, lol. I told her she'll eventually get this one when I upgrade next year. ;)

Yesterday a guy was carrying the iPhone 6s Plus Rose Gold and many were starring at him. Not sure it was a reaction of the phone or the person. The stereotype continues with many.

What's even more odd is that in a society so used to mobile phones he found himself being stared at for using one. In this day and age it's almost the stuff of fairytales.

All I know is every time I take out my rose gold iPhone girls grab it like "OMG you have it? I love this color it's so cute" lmao. I'm returning mine, not cause of the color but cause it's 16GB and it's a joke. Will grab a 64GB...at the same time I'll change color ;)

I do not mind that it is pink and that I am male. But I do mind that the gold looks more yellow than the pretty gold the 5s had, and that the pink looks more pink, than what i wish rose gold would look like. I went with black/spaceGray this time around.

I had the same thinking. Rose gold is more pink than what it should have been and gold
Is more yellow than what it should have been. I also went with Space Grey

I think the matt gold used on the 6/6S phones looks classier than the awful shiny bling gold on the 5S. The rose gold is just pink...

I've had the Rose Gold 6s+ since launch day. To me, it's the most beautiful phone I've ever owned. It only looks "pink" under certain light conditions. Otherwise, it's more of very bright copper-ish hue.

Regardless, I don't give a deep-fried f**k about what anybody thinks of my color choice!

That is cool to hear. I hope some people around me buy one so I can have better real life comparisons. Yeah, your last line, I agree. I buy the phone for me, not for someone else. thumbsup

It's a lovely peachy/coppery pink and I like it... surprising since I'm a chick that doesn't really like pink. I was very afraid it was going to be Barbie-doll pink and it's not. I like peach tones though-- it reminds me of my first prom dress. I bought the new color because it was the new color; I've noticed that the new colors are always easier to sell when the time comes.

I'm a female and I LOVE mine. There were several men rocking the Rose Gold in the Apple Store yesterday. I see absolutely nothing wrong with guys having this color. It's kinda sexy.

Was Rose Gold Color suggested by Tim Cook? A good marketing strategy. Whether we like the color or not, we are talking about it.

Why not a nice matte black or slate blue iPhone? Silver with a black bezel?
