Samsung is obsessed with Apple like a crazed abandoned lover.

But if Samsung wants to make good attack ads, they should fire their marketing and just come here for ideas where numerous real users make valid and scathing criticisms against Apple products and policies.
They aren't just attack ads. The ads also suggest that Samsung is in the same league as Apple in terms of design. And I guess compared to all other phone makers as a whole, Samsung is the closest to being in Apple's league. But not in the same league, maybe Samsung is college football but Apple is the Super Bowl.

Whilst I'm not convinced by Samsung's folding phones (I don't think the technology is quite there yet - the visible seam etc), I get the sentiment.

Apple needs to catch up with innovation on the hardware front when it comes to iPhone - 120hz panels, AOD etc are years behind. The buzz of iPhone is a fraction of what it was a decade ago and people are hungry for 'new', not just trivial updates (iPhone 14 I'm looking at you). Imagine the buzz for a foldable iPhone.

But that's just Apple catching up with Samsung - Apple needs to lead the way and introduce new tech before their rivals.

Dynamic Island is the one real software/hardware innovation Apple has introduced to iPhone in recent years, and it's already a forgettable feature.

Hilarious... coming from a company whose original smart phone was a bald faced ripoff of the iPhone. Maybe be careful what you tease, Samsung. Apple might make it correctly and then who will buy your garbage beta-test-level devices? What version are we on now and they still suck?

Samsung is obsessed with Apple like a crazed abandoned lover. But if Samsung wants to make good attack ads, they should fire their marketing and just come here for ideas where numerous actual users make valid and scathing criticisms against Apple products and policies. Here they can also find almost endless examples of customer service nightmares, software bugs, and hardware quality issues. Also complaints about overpriced products and services, meaningless upgrades, etc. They have so much to pick from, instead of making up desperate and silly ads.

Samsung doesn't want their ads to come across like a Facebook comments section.

I don't notice the crease unless it's on the table and there's glare. But I don't watch things on my phone. I'm guessing videos that have dark scenes, you might notice it more?

Same old tired comments here guys, take a look outside of the Apple portfolio once in a while, which is what this admittedly rather cringy ad is saying.

- No software updates, fixed
- Bad/laggy UI, fixed
- Inferior cameras, fixed

...as for critique of the way in which Samsung are poking at Apple - nobody here remember the 'I'm a Mac, I'm a PC' ads? Same same.

As always, let the products talk.

Disclaimer; I have a flip 4 and I rather like it - it's tech that's fun again. Give me better battery, tone down the crease and make the outer screen a bit bigger though. It's vastly superior to the flip 3 even though cosmetially you'd be pressed to tell the difference.

What I don't understand is the way the ad pretends folding phones are a big thing. Even among Samsung users most of them prefer the regular form factor. It's like they're trying to force the folding phone to happen by subconsciously targeting all non flip users, not just ones with iPhones.

Samsung customers desperately wait for software updates 🥲
YES! This is still the absolutely most annoying thing about Android OS. Otherwise, it's been much better than years ago. My GM was crashing today, but I found the solution to clear data. I had totally forgotten about that.

It always seems like they’ve released the phones a long time before they are ready but still with high price tags.

The model that seems the most pointless is the Flip.

Promoting your products by mocking others is just so distasteful imo. I’ve never understood brands that do this, and Samsung seems bent on doing it with Apple right now. If anything it makes me NOT want your products even more…
Apple did it with the buy a Mac ads?

Everyone talking about Samsung's cringe ads is exactly why they keep making them. Smh

Remember Sega and Nintendo ads? Nothing new here. Apple will copy and have their own soon enough they like being late.
