- I refuse to borrow money. From anyone. I haven't had a car payment in over 4 years and I will never have another ever again. I took out a mortgage when I bought my home, but will have that paid off in a few years.
- I am a progressive republican, or a centrist democrat. Probably my closest political role model would be Teddy Roosevelt or Lincoln. I believe in saving the environment, progressive social values, and having a small ambitious government with minimal taxes, private healthcare and very little overhead and interference in my private life.
- I live in the south, and I don't own a pair of shorts. I almost consistently wear jeans and a sport coat.
- I own a plasma television and home theatre system, but I rarely watch television. Probably less than 20hrs a year. When I do its PBS or a DVD. We read in our house.
- I love to eat, drink and smoke. But I have had to learn to define "Joy" differently when I saw that I was almost 290lbs. I haven't eaten fast food, or any processed snack junk in years.
- I can speak a little spanish, and play the guitar/bass guitar - however, I want to learn to fly, play the piano and speak french. Would also like to learn to read music.
- I always planned on remaining single and never having kids, but I am hitched with two baby girls. No regrets.
- I will never work a conventional 40hr/week job. I think its physically impossible for me. For the past few years I have worked at an IT startup plus run an Ad Agency/Design firm, and consult several hours a week. I need multiple streams of income, in order to have a sense of peace and accomplishment.
- More often than not, I cook the meals for my family. I own dozens of cookbooks and can throw together a good meal with relatively little effort.
- I don't hold a strong faith in a surpreme being. However, I would feel that it is safe to say that some of the greatest achievements and works ever performed were done out of faith. If you find strength and purpose in your religion, then I truly respect and support that. But wether you have strong religious values or not, we need to live lives of grace and purpose and accomplish something while we are here. I believe having faith is valuable as long as it brings you hope, comfort and strength to face adversity - but the problem lies in when it becomes your reasons for prejudice and judgement.
- I read like its my job. I prob read or listen to 3 books a week. Too many good books too list. If you aren't reading you aren't growing - and you can't win. If you can tell me who was "voted off the island" and you haven't read a good book lately then seriously, what the hell? Why bother?
- I have dated at least 3 members of this board. They are all nice women, and I have nothing negative to say about our relationships. It just wasnt the right time or place in our lives.
- My brother is a professional MLB Pitcher.

- I paint and have exhibited my work in galleries.
- I sleep no more than 25-35 hrs a week. There is stuff to do, life is short. Morning jogs are too good for the soul
- I have lived/worked in 10 different states in the US.
- I actually got a free ipod nano, you just have to know where to look and how the game works.
- I was once a door to door salesman after September 11th and the technology job market fell apart. Real men aren't afraid of hard work. Honestly, it was one of the best jobs I have ever had.
- I love to shower and shave (with a real razor - nothing electric). Preferably with NPR or Jazz/Classical/Opera in the background.
- I have over 90,000 songs in my iTunes library and music is almost always playing while I work.
