Fantastic! She'll be very pleased to hear you say that.

I know she posted it on a few synaesthesia message boards worldwide, but I never thought for a second that you might have seen it already. She'll be very glad that her hard work promoting it paid off!

So every time you hear something you start having hallucinations (seeing colors)? I certainly hope you drive with noise-cancelling headphones.:)

Riding on a airplane must be like going on an acid trip. :p
 
I guess i will play.

1. I played piano for 6 years, but it has been about 4 since i have touched one.
2. I got my first speeding ticket almost exactly 6 months after getting my liscene.
3. I have a thing for asian women
4. I hate english classes and spelling.
5. I am bored with all my calculus classes (math is really easy for me).
6. I am half german (dad's side) and half english (moms side).
7. My friends call me hitler (my last name is similar).
8. I have been to Japan for one month and loved every min.
9. My favorite meal is my moms meatloaf with a lot of ketchup on it and my grandmother mashed potatoes and mac&cheese (the mac and cheese is heavanly).
10. My dream vehicles would be a 1960 ford mustang (fully restored to original) and a 1930-1940 truck (again, fully restored to original).
11. when i start something i do it completely and dont stop until it is done right. Htat hard part is getting me to start :p.
12. I cant stand rap/hip hop or anything like that. I am a country fan all the way (but i do listen to older rock and roll). I like the Beatles also.
13. My favorite songs are "Live like you were Dying" by Tim McGraw and "Three wooden crosses" by Randy Travis.
14. I moved away to college this year and the thing i miss the most about leaving is my dog (i love my dog).
15. I am the only person i know that plans on getting a masters in computer science and engineering and a minor in culinary arts.
16. I hate shopping unless it is for electronics.
17. I HATE the city (way to crowded for me). Would much rather live in the country and have 2+ acres to mow.
18. My favorite sports teams are: MLB= Cleveland Indians, NFL= Cincy, NBA= Pistons, dont really follow any other sports.
19. I love golf but still cant beat my 45 year old father.
20. One day i will rule the world :p
 
i can't resist any longer.

1. i'm dyspraxic. look it up. :)

3. i'm scottish through and through, although went to posh schools in england and lost my accent.
4. i've been driving since i was 17.
5. i currently drive a car capable of outrunning all but one ferrari - the enzo. and it cost me £1200 off ebay. :D
6. i'm a complete gadget junkie.
7. i live, almost exclusively, off suppers from the local chippy, but don't seem to put on any weight..
8. i'm 6'5" tall. (hence 'big' andy :))
9. i cut my hair last week for the first time in two years.
10. i've travelled round the world twice.
11. i'm blond.
12. in 2001 i did the two highest bungee jumps in the world (220m and 110m - both in southern africa), skiied for four months in canada (banff), went heli-skiing in italy, and had a little fun sky diving and scuba diving in cairns, australia.
13. because of (12) i went to uni completely broke.
14. i've still not finished uni, i keep taking time out to travel.
15. i had a little smidgen of film work shown on BBC 1.
16. i smoke far too much.
17. i've been to italy 6 times, but not spent more than a total of 30 hours there.
18. i almost emigrated to south africa last year.
19. i've never broken any bones.
20. i'm 24 next month.

Considering 1, 4 & 5 are a little scary and 19 seems unlikely what with 9 & 12!

and like iGav said what're ya driving? I'm guessing NO2'd Jag or something.:confused:

I guess I'll try.
1) My sons have three Korean grandparents, two living.
2) My father is from Iran.
3) I had a 1.6 GPA my 3rd year of college and was told by the college pre-med advisor to give up because I would never be a doctor.
4) I finished my residency in internal medicine last year.
5) I got avatar rights on MR today after posting 0.5 posts daily for a long time :).
6) The boy in my avatar is my younger son Philip.
7) I am really tempted to buy a Rev A MacBook Pro, though I have a hard time admitting it to myself.
8) I enjoy using vintage fountain pens.
9) I like customizing PDAs.
10) I like processing digital photos almost as much as I like taking them.
11) Walking through my front door and being greeted by my family after work is the best part of my day every single day.
12) I feel silly typing this list so I am going to stop here.

and btw
im never going to buy a vaio until apple decides to get rid of OS X and go back to 8.6, and kill all of their design and go back to '97. I'm just sorta sick of the apple design. it needs to be redesigned. 3.5 years is a long time for the same design in the computer world.
EDIT: make it look like this with 8.6 and i will say good bye to apple.

My elementary and high school years:
1. Born in Chicago
2. Norman French/English
3. First memory: jumping off porch in to snow over my head.
4. First time to meet Santa Claus on a Christmas eve (aka my uncle who tapped on a snowy window from outside the house and meowed like a cat), I peed my pants. (He was an idiot.)
5. I still hate cats. I made peace with Santa, but my uncle remained an idiot.
6. I used to listen to Dinicu/Heifetz Hora Staccato to fall asleep.
7. I loved tapioca pudding.
8. I first got my heart broken by Maureen in 4th grade. I used to carry her saxophone home for her from band practice.
9. I hate saxophones. They’re the bastards of the orchestra.
10. I played French horn for 12 years
11. My first dog was named “Tippy”. He got run over by a concrete truck before my eyes while I was playing marbles in the front yard with my friends.
12. I was a life guard for three years in high school.
13. I played baseball, basketball, football and tennis – best at baseball. (catcher and third baseman).
14. I played several leads in various high school plays.
15. I sang in several groups and did some backup studio recording for no-namers.
