Such a cavalier attitude.

I have to win a lottery to participate.

I've booked my train ticket :D

Gonna be fun :D

Might pop down or a while.
Only 3 hours on the train, oh well I've nothing better to do.

2 hours here.

Will be worth it though :D

There is a £1000 fine if you get caught buying alcohol for underage people or buy it yourself underage. This has meant I've been id'd more in the last year than when I was under 18.

I wonder if they'd believe "But they're my relatives in the family of Apple" ;)

Because it's not illegal if you drink with family and are under 18... ;)

Really? and although you have some good points, if he looks 18-ish and said he was 18 or implied he was 18 or of a legal age then it's my word against his. ;) Not that i'm going to set him up or anything..

Awww you're plotting against me, already... when I was going to bring you all biscuits :(

:D

I'll be leaving from the East Midlands as well. If you're all gonna be travelling First Class then we could meet up in the train, ahem, otherwise I'll meet you lot at the picnic.

Don't want to catch anything from you dirty proles in Economy Class after all ... :D

There's a high chance I will be, I usually do depending on work.

I am sorry for the double post.
Although, I'm going down on the 9th till the 10th of June and this will be the first time I'll stay on my own (as in, I usually stay at a co-worker or my girlfriend comes with me) and I'm not expecting the accomodation to be very inviting. Any one know places to eat? iBlue? :p Just kidding but seriously, there's no WiFi in the place and I don't know my way around that certain area.

Peace.

Hmmm, I may see if I can make it this year.

Now is 5+ hours on the train worth it?

Shall have to see how work goes. :)

5 hours from Wales?! Where abouts do you live??
Granted it did take me 9 hours to get back from Anglesey on the train. Damn lorry drivers crashing into bridges!

South West-ish by the coast in Pembrokeshire. Far away from everyone and everything!

What's this about a picnic? Crap idea; it'll never work. ;)

I shall be there, come rain or shine. Bring your iPods, some 20 minute playlists, a handful of D-cell batteries if you're feeling generous... the BV boombox will be dusted off for more iPod goodness.

Looking forward to it. :)

Whats the best train station to go to then? I'll prolly be leaving from B'ham New St.

Paddington is closest. Euston and King's Cross are 30mins away by tube.

EXCELLENT!!
It wouldn't be the same without you or the iPod Hi-Fi.

He'll be arriving at Euston...

Deal :D

Looking at thetrainline.com it looks like the trains from Birmingham to Euston are cancelled on the day of the picnic, so you have to go to Marylebone/Paddington either direct from Moor St, or by changing at Reading from New Street, that'll be cheaper anyhow as Chiltern Trains is much cheaper...

Oh right. Arent the trains from Moor Street just slow old things? :s
*would prefer a nice speedy Voyager :) *

I'll take a look on ojp and see what i can do :)
I might be going to a gig on the night of the 19th so may not be able to come :(
