About the game, I'm concerned about Chile's lack of goals. Hopefully Suazo will find the net soon despite being almost two months out, because it seems there's no one else willing to step up. Maybe Paredes... we'll see. With Fernández suspended for the match against Spain, Paredes will have the chance to come off the bench sooner.
Hopefully Valdivia will manage to steer away from the yellow card during that match, or it will seriously undermine our possibilities in the second round.
I am hoping to watch a game a la England - Algeria, but with 5 red cards for the Europeans.
They should put 4-5...but Honduras will pack the box and play a dangerous counter with former Inter striker Suazo...

Let's hope Mexico's fear to meet Argentina in the next round is big enough to try to win. But if it's 1:1 after 80 min, the rest of the match is going to be boring and your prediction will be right.

Good thing Terry is a center back, something England is in very short supply of at the moment. Unless Carrick gets another run out in that position like he had to do at United last season.
Yep, Spain should have really taken Honduras to the woodshed. Honduras did defend bravely in a couple of key sequences, but Spain really should have finished better. Villa's missed penalty was inexcusible. Navas' crossing was atrocious. Torres couldn't finish to save his life (maybe like Sansom he derived his scoring powers from his delicate bleached locks).
